The quality for the Money is awful. I do not recommend this one bit if you already own a yeti jug you will be sorely disappointed in the fact that it cost £40 including postage and the quality is terrible.

This lid is far superior to the stock yeti lids that come on the half gallon and gallon jugs. I have the half gallon and gallon jugs both from yeti, the following are consistent issues I have had with the stock lids: - leaking 90% of the time. Occasionally I would get the lid on just right and just tight enough to not leak but that was rare. - difficulty getting the lid off. At times I will have to have someone secure the base while I hit the carrying handle with a hammer to try and jar it lose. This replacement lid does not leak, screws on and off very easy, and the straw option is a game changer in my opinion. Highly recommend this product!

Very good quality

The lid is a great idea but there's no insulation at all, its just the thin walled plastic, pretty disappointing, and on closer inspection the photos on the item omit any internal pictures. Having a large bottle with this much liquid it just doesn't keep as cold as the original lid which is almost an inch and half thick of insulation. I just took the rubber seal off this and reverted back to my original yeti lid.
