I bought this for my huge tonsil stones. This time of year is always the worst and I feel like I have already tried a dozen mouthwashes without much luck. I was really concerned that it would trigger my sensitive gag reflex, but thankfully it didn't. I was shocked by how many of those sucker's were back there. It's very easy to use and the removal itself isn't painful.

This vacuum has good suction and is easy to handle once you get use to it. The unit is well made and performs as it says.

I wasn't able to get this to work at all. Every time I tried to suction my tonsils, it made me gag hard. I don't know that I even have any tonsil stones but I wanted to remove them if I did. The videos made it seem so easy to use, but this was not the tool for me!

Save yourself the money and just buy a little syringe thing to splash them off, worked better than the vacuum.

I used to have to pop out my sister’s tonsil stones with a Q-tip, and it used to gag both of us. This really is a gamer changer. The all-around light makes a difference. No more holding a flashlight in my mouth and trying to see what I am pressing on. It is not the brightest light, but it is better than what I was working with before. Read the instructions before you get started. They could be better, but it is going to make using this much easier. I don’t know that I could use this on myself. It was easy for me to use on someone else, but I would not be able to see well enough to get back in my own throat especially with my gag reflex. However, using it on someone else was easy. That is why I got it anyway, so not a problem.

Let me first start by saying I wasn't able to remove any tonsil stones. I didn't even know that was a thing until I saw this product. I wasn't even sure if I had any. Turns out I do not. So I can not review if this vacuum is effective at removing tonsil stones. What i can say is that this device is well built and does provide decent suction. It doesn't seem like its alot, but you can feel the suction on your tonsils when you're poking around in there. and that's another thing. My tongue has this natural reflex to move up and block the view whenever I prodded around back there. That's more on me than the product. I do have two gripes with this product. The instructions are not very good. Very limited and terse. You kinda have to figure things out on your own and how to use some of the accessories that came with it. It really didn't have any instructions on how to use the mirror and syringe. Another gripe is the LED light isn't very bright. it was hard to see so I had to use another light that's brighter. But that leaves you with only one hand for the vacuum. It helps to have another person either hold the light for you, or poke around with the vacuum for you. Hope you are comfortable with that. But overall, a pretty good product.
