Great image quality
Yes it's expensive, but it displays a great image quality. So I can't knock it for being expensive since you get what you pay for. It presents a good, warm, HD image. Some people prefer a wider lens to fit more than one person into the view. However this camera is built to fit 1 person in the view and it does an excellent job of it.Also, it works flawlessly on my Mac and on my PC.

Good enough if you have one, better options if buying new...
I got one of these from a former employer (Cisco, go figure). 3 stars because it doesn't have a mic, and any modern USB webcam of the "sit on top of monitor" variety does -- even cheaper ones.Privacy shutter is nice. Narrow view angle is a feature (privacy for those around you in an office setting), but see how many wouldn't like it. Posting this because it works fine for me on MacOS Catalina, though some report it doesn't or they require firmware updates to make it work. I just have to select "USB Camera" in hangouts, facetime, etc.Video is fine, 720p although for daily hangouts type stuff I tend to turn HD off anyway (save bandwidth)... if you need true HD (vlogging, livestreaming, etc) there are better options.

Best Optics in the Market - Crisp Image
The size of this camera denotes the quality of the optics that it hides under the hood. The price is surely more than twice of the top level webcams in the consumer market but the results are second to none. The image quality is the best I have seen so far and my friends get astonished with the results as well, even asking if I am using broadcast quality equipment. No software to install either on a PC or a Mac which is a true plug'n'play product. It's a pity that Cisco doesn't advertise this product on the general consumer market. On a Mac it's the only camera that I've seen surpass the internal webcams that Apple supplies in terms of image quality. The internal microphone of the camera has a good directional beam with very good audio results. If you want a no compromise with video and audio quality, this is the camera for you.

Low image quality and narrow view angle .... Be away !!!!
Compared to other low quality cams, and considering that it is triple priced the others, and on top of everything being a Cisco component, ... This camera is a big FAIL !!!!!!!!Focus is slow, view angle is extremely narrow that only get from your head to few inches below your shoulders .... If you will sit with someone in a video call, you have to go at least 8 ft away just to get both of you into capture, THEN video quality will be VERY poor !!!!!Also I tried to establish 3 video calls over skype IN THE SAME PC and TO THE SAME DESTINATION with this one, with Microsoft studio, and with Logitech 920.Last one gave widest range of view but image was very bad and totally forget about focus!!Second one gave medium view angle but focus was sharp. This one was the lowest in both view angle and image quality...Please buyer don't waste that TOO MUCH money in that low quality product.

Good on a PC - Unusable on a Mac
Works great with a PC, but their firmware is super buggy on the mac. I get green screen flickers that make it unusable on a mac-mini or macbook pro and it doesn't seem to matter what version of OSX I'm running. The microphone is great on these thing and the picture is great too, but you've got to be a windows user for it to matter.

Worst mount ever... stupid "WTF were they thinking" design
I own several of these. 2 are not working simply because the mount is the most awkwardly designed thing I've ever seen. As a result of multiple drops... dead camera. Great image quality. Decodes h264 stream onboard ..yada yada. Mount sucks. really sucks. I'm gonna take one of the broken ones apart, mold up something with some playdoh and it will work better. C'mon Cisco/ tandberg. U can do better.
