Brilliantly written and illustrated!
Excellent little book with fantastic little poems for all the jungle creatures and the illustrations are really cute! My three month old daughter loves the bright colours and in due course I'm sure will enjoy looking out for the ants hiding in each picture!!

An every night read...says it all really!
This is my daughters all time favourite book so far. She's 4 & now knows it off by heart. It is her last story every night & she either "reads" it to us or we read it to her. We initially had a library copy but were renewing it so much that we bought our own copy & it's one of those books that she will remember when she's an adult & perhaps read to children of her own one day if she has any. The rhymes are lovely & we are in general big fans of Giles Andreae books. His books such as Chimpanzees of happytown to Giraffes can't dance have great morals & we have now moved up to his Sir Scallywag books which are also great. We 100% recommend him as an author from board books, picture books & now on to his slightly longer stories.

Good book, but probably not for young babies
Good book, very colourful, but too long to read to a young baby and keep them interested until the end of the story. Lots of colourful pictures for them to look at though.

Fantastic book
My 3 year old absolutely loves this book; the pictures are excellent and he loves reciting the rhymes. The board book is also very hard wearing and will last

Didn't appeal....
Not a story that I can get my 14month old interested in, despite him being a book lover... Might have to wait till he's older? Not sure...

Second hand seller
The story itself is lovely and full of rhymes and interesting sounds to keep baby interested. I bought this from a second hand seller which I didn't realise, I checked and book was listed in good condition. The book arrived and I would say it is in OK condition, but looks quite beat up and old. If it wasn't a board book it would of been wrecked. Ultimately felt it didn't seem hygienic enough to let my one year old have even after disinfecting it. If it was for a slightly older child I think it would of been fine and have given 3 stars as this was my own fault I didn't read the description, but I still felt the book wasn't as advertised.
