I purchased this Triton T100XR Electric Shower 8.5kw from PlumbworldUK as a direct replacement for an old, existing Triton T100XR unit. Delivery was prompt, and of course, the price was very reasonable, compared to other sellers on the Internet. I will definitely purchase from PlumbworldUK again. Triton showers are of good quality, and like all electric showers that internally heat the water, I would recommend the use of a water softener/conditioner in the water feed, especially in hard water areas. As with all makes of these electric shower heaters, invariably, the heater element calcifies (calcium carbonate / limescale) and this shortens the life of the internal heater unit, which then results in the necessity for heater unit replacement. The shower was exactly as required; arrived on time ...
The shower was exactly as required; arrived on time; but was found to be 'faulty' within 4 days ... so, a Triton engineer came out, VERY speedily, to attend to the 'problem' - under guarantee. Apparently, it was a loose screw - ??? I know no more ... but it was repaired foc, and has been working very well ever since ...

not upto the mark
The shower is dangerous to use.... when the shower is on the temperature fluctuate by it owns, the water is suddenly very cold & then turns very hot. we initially thought the water pressure is going up & down. but that is not the case we tried by just using the only shower in the whole house & then too the temperature was flicking throwing sudden cold Water & then hot. Not consistent at all ... waste of money. I have put it on my bathroom and stuck. is there anything that you guys can do. I'm in my warranty period(2 months since purchased), do I get a replacement.

Replaced my old Triton shower
I purchased this product as a replacement for a Triton shower I had for about 10 years. The back unit and all water and electricity connections were identical to the T80XR it replaced. I am very pleased with the appearance and flow from my new shower

Fast delivery, not installed yet though!
I bought this as a direct replacement for one already installed at my sons house as his was playing up. Since we bought this one his old shower hasn't failed again so I cannot comment on if it all works ok yet or not. It arrived quickly and looks as described.As soon as the old one gives us the ghost we shall fit this one and leave a review.
