Great Eagle light. I put these up and can't be happier. They make a nice shape on the wall, and the remote is a nice feature. Not super bright, and not sure how long the charge lasts, but a fun piece to showcase in a man cave as a scone in between my artwork.

Awhile back I ordered the blue-light version of the Eagle. It’s such a fun novelty I had to buy the red-light version to go with it. Now I’m ready for the 4th of July. Seriously, I’m kind of a birder and it’s always a gift when I come across a bald eagle. So, seeing these just make me smile, and if you are considering buying one for yourself or your favorite eagle fan, smiles do come in the box. Of course, it’s a nice 4th of July party decoration too.What you see picture is exactly how it looks. The body is a strong plastic with lots of 3-D effect detailing. The head and feet are a rubber-type material. It can be used either plugged into a USB charger or wireless using the internal battery. The battery lasts for about 4 hours. The LEDs are bright enough to be seen on any background, but the wing effect looks best on a light colors. Also, if there is any doubt, this light is purely for decoration not room or desktop illumination.Two hanging options are available – magnetic or via a nail or screw in the wall. Out of the box it will stick to any magnetic metal. Mine hang on a freezer door and have tremendous grip. It’s no wimpy magnet. If you don’t have a magnetic surface a metal disk with a sticker is include, though I would not stick it on a painted surface. The back of the light has two notched holes as well which you can use to hang with a screw or nail if you don’t want to use the magnetic method.A remote is include to power it on and set a predetermined time to power off in 1 hour increments up to 4 hours. I find the remote a bit unpredictable and it's the old fashion line-of-sight IR type that has to be aimed directly at the light to work. It's kind of a bonus, so not important in my calculation here.The only negative aspect of this light is that, at least, as designed, the battery and LEDs are not replaceable. I’m not really concerned about the LEDs as LEDs can last years, but batteries are much shorter lived. However, if you are handy and have the proper tools, I think it may be possible to remove the head to get to the battery and find a close enough replacement since it’s a low powered device. But no reason this light doesn’t have an access door in the back.One other FYI note, the USB slot is where the back meets the head. This makes for an awkward fit against the wall when a cable is plugged in. I recommend buying a right angle USB-C cable, especially if you are going to leave it plugged in rather than use battery power.

I was curious but hesitant to order this eagle, as I wasn’t sure it would jive with my current decor. The perfect opportunity to order arose when my college bound son said he’d proudly display it in his new apartment.The level of detail on this thing is beyond what I’d expected. It’s surprisingly very well made.The body of the eagle is magnetic!The eagles beak and feet/talons are composed of a rubbery material, while the body is a hard plastic. The glistening eyes are highly detailed.I was worried that the eagle would look odd on the wall while powered off and it’s wings were not lit up. My fears were unfounded. A visiting guest would probably think that the wings are tucked in next to his body, not that the are missing. When the light is on this eagle has the most magnificent wings and tail feathers. Again the detail is great! You can see individual light “feathers” protruding out in the coolest fashion.This comes with a remote with which you can set several timers. You can also turn this on with a button on top of its head.This came with a metal disc that can be adhered to your wall. The magnet in the eagles body then affixes it to the disc. Alternatively, the eagle has a spot where it can be hung on a hook or nail.If you have a metal surface he could also stick there. The magnet is quite strong which gave me confidence that he wouldn’t fall.This eagle light is rechargeable. He comes with a usb-c cord. The reason the magnetic/disc hanging method is so nice is because you can quickly pop him off to charge then easily plop him back on the wall when done. The eagle charged quickly.The eagles wings are composed of red light. It’s perfect for a night light, if you don’t mind the red vibe.We have all thoroughly enjoyed this eagle. Mr. Eagle is certainly a conversation piece. We all think that he is really cool.

This is definitely a conversation piece. We've had it out for Eagles games and it's fun to see what people put into the plastic talons (pig in a blanket shown, but corndogs work well too). The battery lasts a long time and it's easy to charge again with the included cable (although any USB-c will work). I The remote is of limited use since you have to turn it on on the actual bird before the remote works, negating the whole point of a remote. It does have a timer function though, so maybe that's useful to someone. I do wish that it could change colors. We love the red, but changing it to green or yellow or some other color would make it even better. Our dog watches it constantly, probably because the pigs in a blanket eventually fall to the floor.

This eagle wall decoration / light is really cool. I ordered it for our camper, and I think it creates a really cool effect on the wall. It seems to be well-made and the light are bright enough to be clearly visible but not overwhelming. I like that it's battery powered, and rechargeable, so I don't have to mess with disposable batteries. The battery life is good, and it lasts quite a while on a charge. I also love that it's magnetic, so I can stick it to the metal plate, or any steel surface. Ultimately, if you like the look/design, then I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it - I think it's pretty cool and I'd buy it again.Recommended.
