To The Sound Of Music

This recording matches The Sound of Music original tracks in tempo, style and key. It does have a sound that is rather like a synthesizer, so obviously not the quality of the film soundtrack but very useable for those who love the film and the music.

The words dont show up!!! I have a hard time with any of cds from amazon!! Alway,Always 1/2 of it never works

Not sure why a lot of people complained about this karaoke cd. Read the description!!This is a cd with songs of “The Sound of Music” and bonus songs from “Mary Poppins”. Lyrics for each song are in the cd booklet. Cd is great, my daughter loves it. She used it as background music at her schools talent schon.

Like the product but the way they define it wasn't actually reveal that is not what it appear to be until the last sentence after I already bought it and read it over and over

I am really enjoying this CD. I used it when I sang for our county fair Idol competition and I won!

We bought this to go with my daughters new Karaoke machine. She is obsessed with the Sound of Music and we thought this would be a hit. Problem is this is only music- no words appear on the screen. It includes a little insert with the words written small behind the CD cover. My daughter and we were very frustrated with this. This product is very misleading since it indicates it is a Karaoke CD with words. It is not!! Just stick to the regular Sound of Music CD and sing along. You would be better off then wasting your money on this.

I was very disappointed with this cd. It says on the front of it "all the music , all the words" but instead of the words appearing on the screen of the karaoke machine like all of the other cds we have, the words are printed in the inside cover of the cd cover, so only one person can really see them at a time.I also felt that the tempo of the music was quicker than on normal cds, plus it was hard to know when to "come in" with the words as there is no indication on the screen at all, in fact it is just like listening to a normal cd.Had I known this at the time of buying it, I would have saved my money and not bothered with it.

Being new to the Karaoke business, I didn't know exactly what to look for. I therefore made the mistake of buying a non-CDG album. Without the on-screen lyrics it is much harder to sing along, and I bought this for my young daughter. Although she was pleased to have the Mary Poppins music (which is what we really bought this for) she has no idea when to sing, even though the lyrics are available in the CD sleeve.My fault entirely I know, but I thought I should point it out clearly to other novices like myself.

Should have read the reviews on here as the cd isnt any good for the karoake machine that I bought it for.My friend bought a karoake machine for her kids and wanted some cds for christmas for them, The cd doesnt play graphics on the machine which was a bit of a dissapointment yesterday.I think calling it karoake is a bit misleading but the description does say not suitable for machines (not sure it did when I purchased it though !) so it is my fault.

thought it was cdg but its not needs to be clearer that words are in a book and not displayed on screen
