Great All Around Security/Media Camera
I am only give it a 1 because I just purchased one and the screen went dark even though the device was On. I have repurchased it and if everything checks out, it will definitely be a 5 stars. First time experience did not go as planned, but since we are living in an imperfect world, mistakes can happen. Hence, I will wait for the second one. ******Update****** One of the best purchased that I have ever made in year 2025 so far. I have being using it for quite some time now, and it is as reliable as someone would want it to be. I have been using it mostly for my car surveillance, but I sometimes use it to capture long lasting family memory. I would highly recommend it.

Product never worked, poor customer service. 100+ days waiting for a replacement/refund
Received a defective product. Ordered 2/12, it's now 5/27. I ave been on the phone and emailing Vantrue every week for the last 3 months, shipped my unit back to them at an $18 expense to myself for a replacement, and they've promised every time that "the replacement will be sent out," but has yet to ship. Last time they said they'd be "shipping it Monday" was 2 weeks ago. Products that don't work, service that doesn't help or tell the truth.. writing this off as a $500 loss because I expect no one to help. TLDR: Unit I ordered was defective, took ages getting several people to help me troubleshoot over the phone, nothing worked, then sent back the defective unit once it was apparent it doesn't work, at an additional $18 cost to myself, was told a new unit would "ship Monday" 15 days ago. I am avoiding Vantrue for the rest of the foreseeable future and chalking them up as a scam considering this has been an ongoing nightmare for over 100 days now.

My E360 is working fine!
I like the camera, but wish the app was easier to use. I purchased this cam in January 2025. We’ve had our ups in downs in the first few weeks of use. I had upgraded the firmware to the Dec 2024 version. That was a big mistake and caused all kinds of hiccups with the cam turning randomly off and on. I reset the cam multiple times and finally gave up and reverted back to the original firmware via a link I found on Reddit for Vantrue. I have since updated my firmware with the March 2025 Version: E360_VT-EEC111 and haven’t had any hiccups. It shows a pretty decent picture front and rear. I’ve taken a few trips hundreds of miles from home and the camera stayed engaged. I do suggest you go through the settings and make changes as you see fit, and definitely read the instruction manual. I also purchased a FitDVR Dash Camera Power Adapter/Power Source so that I wouldn’t have to worry about using my cig lighter or running a wire. The FitDVR turns on automatically when getting in my car. I haven’t tried the LTE adapter for Vantrue yet as I see a people have been having connection issues with it. I will probably eventually upgrade to the 4K Vantrue rear cam models, but for now, I’m satisfied.

Know Before You Buy
The dashcam itself is pretty good and unique with the 360 view. The reason for 3stars is that if you use any other memory card other than a Vantrue branded card, you will eventually get a very annoying "Slow card" warning. I have tried multi memory cards, Samsung Pro and the Endurance, SanDisk, Lexar. All are super fast card, I use them for photography. All got the "Slow card" warning. I eventually just bought the cheapest Vantrue card, a 32gb. So far no warning. I ran a couple of speed-tests against the Vantrue, which makes me speculate Vantrue wants you to buy there slower and more pricier SD cards.

A Dash Cam and a 360 Action Cam, best of both worlds
Some good reviews and some bad, I found that it was pretty good, Some of the bad reviews were from people that seemed like they were unfamiliar with 360 degree cameras so I understand but disagree. This camera have several view options as illustrated in my pics. The resolution is comparable to a 360 degree camera but is 2.5K in any one direction. And that is the beauty, you can record conversations between driver and passenger, driver and someone at either door window, back, front and all around up or down. I did not realize it had a small rear window cam as well but I have a 31 foot RV and the wire just does not reach LOL... I also have a 4k dash cam for plate reading at a distance but this cam is great for vlogging, recording interactions with people on the road, it does Time lapse, You can pop it off the windscreen and onto a selfie stick with a huge battery and take it with you on a hike, it vas motion sense, GPS recording and the Phone app is great for reviewing or downloading a clip or pic. it has voice control and comes with extra mounts and wire management clips. All this for a fantastic price. I paid more for my old dash cam. Now it is not water proof, you cannot submerse it like other 360 cams, it would probably not like the snow, it is a bit bulky and heavy compared to a regular dash cam or 360 but it gives you the best of both worlds. The desktop app allows you to review and save video in 5 formats from Front/Rear to F/R/L/R to 360 drag and view... it has high dynamic range but requires a very high speed SD card V30 A2 minimum and I estimate a 256 Gig will give 16 hours of recording. There is also a Desktop Windows, Android, Desktop and phone Apple app all free to download. The biggest Suggestion I have that would improve customer satisfaction is make the APP export the current view, the app only exports equirectangular video and even if you select split view the exported snip is not what you edited, it is always just the "panoramic" view. Also a 360 export that is supported by Social Media would be cool.

Huge waste of money
For the price it is unfortunately not very good. I mainly bought it for night/parking mode, and so far the times people have unfortunately hit my car (on with a shopping cart, another with their own door) it did not turn on. But it will turn on randomly and record nothing at 3am (yes, its been hardwired in). It also shuts itself off and doesn't turn back on unless I unplug and reconnect it when driving more than 15 minutes. Unfortunately has been a waste of money. I'm actively looking to replace it.

Value for money
A way to go for an awesome dash cam. It’s been 2 weeks and I’m loving it.

Jack of all, but falls short ...
It is a cool "does many things" camera. But I want a dash cam that gives me the best performance with the most clarity. For that reason I returned this and went with the N4 Pro S instead and find myself VERY HAPPY

Great All-Around Dash Cam With True 360 Degree Coverage
I’ll never look at dash cams the same way after trying this. The Vantrue E360 ACE is packed with features, but what really impressed me is how well everything just works. It's not just a dash cam, it doubles as a handheld camera too. You can attach it to the tripod/selfie stick it comes with and use it on its own, which makes it more flexible than I expected. Setup was straightforward. The cabling was generous, they gave more than enough to run from the front unit to the center console, and then all the way to the rear camera (I used mine in a SUV). That alone made installation a lot easier, allowing me to go under the trim so to tidy everything up. Once it was up and running, I connected to it through the app on my phone. It uses its own WiFi signal, so you don’t need data, just connect and browse through your saved events, photos, or videos. Or if you prefer, you can just pop out the microSD card and plug it into your computer or phone directly. Video files save in 5-minute chunks by default, which I’ve found helpful for finding and clipping footage without having to scrub through massive files. The front camera gives you a full 360 degree view, and it’s really sharp. Not just "good for a dashcam sharp", more like action cam sharp. The rear camera surprised me too. I expected it to be average at best, but the quality is actually solid, especially at night. HDR and STARVIS 2 tech seem to do a good job keeping the picture clean without blowing out lights or crushing details. Little tip, get a big microSD card. This thing records a lot, and you’ll want the extra space, especially if you're using the 5.2K mode or parking mode features. Overall, this is a seriously well-rounded unit. Full coverage, easy to install, sharp video, solid night performance, and you’re not stuck dealing with a clunky app. I’ve tested a several dash cams before, this is the one I’d recommend.
