Oatmeal Breakfast Cereal, 14.5 Oz

I purchased this product through Amazon Pantry. The Pantry savings plus the coupon available made this an excellent deal!👍 A good enough price that I bought two boxes. This cereal is in my top five favorite cereals. It is so good! Just slightly sweet, but not too much. It does not get soggy quickly. Rather, it keeps a nice crisp from the first bite to the last. This cereal makes a decent breakfast, also. We find a bowl of it, topped with berries or bananas, to be quite filling. I feel it keeps us satisfied longer than most cereals. The one box provides all 5 of us with 2 small bowls to eat. ( That is not going by serving suggestion. Just pouring a random but equal amount for each person.) This tastes great with milk, any milk substitute or dry as a snack! We sometimes grab a small baggy full as a snack on the go. Even my kids love it and will choose it over other cereals! Thank goodness for that, as this is a much healthier option than many others out there! I will buy more!

We have fond memories of oatmeal with Dinosaur Eggs from childhood, and this is fun to share with our kids now. The oatmeal has a nice sweetness that the kids enjoy, and it makes for a quick and easy breakfast option. However, we did find that the dinosaur eggs dissolve a bit too quickly in the hot water, which takes away from the fun of watching them "hatch." While the flavor is mostly a win, we wish the eggs had a little more staying power for added excitement. Overall, it's a solid choice for busy mornings, just don’t expect the dino surprise to last long!

Healthy and delicious

This takes me back to childhood. Would say I bought this for my children, but I didn't! Lols! Tastes great. Good portion size. Dinosaur eggs turn into dinosaurs after the oatmeal has been cooked. The dinosaurs have a good flavor and are perfectly mildly sweetened. It isn't super sweet like candy. The dinosaurs also provide a little crunch to the meal, but there isn't a dinosaur with every bite. My only point out is that if you warm up the oatmeal for too long (I never use the directions on the packet. I like what I like lols!), it kind of melts the dinosaur which gives less of the crunch feeling.

This cereal was great according to my father, to whom I sent it. He had been reluctant to go out shopping for fear of COVID. I sent him this and milk, among other items, and he chowed down happily. This has 5 grams of fiber (17% daily value) and 6 grams of protein (7% daily value), which is nice. It has 9 grams of sugar, which is less than some of the other cereals my Dad would eat, left to his own devices. Would definitely buy again, because of Dad is eating this, Dad is not eating doughnuts for breakfast.

This cereal has gotten tough for me to find locally, so I was thrilled to find it in the Amazon Pantry at a great price. The oatmeal squares have just the right amount of sweetness to be eaten with milk or by themselves. I like the crunchiness of these squares and the slightly spongy texture that happens to them when they've been sitting in milk for a bit. I rarely crave cereal, but I crave these!
