Perfect for my needs
I purchased this to keep in my horse trailer. I needed to have my tools and my first aid supplies in one convenient place. This is the perfect size and has enough place for everything I want to have on hand. It is sturdy enough for my needs. This was well worth the money.

Great light duty tool box with Pros and Cons
Pros:Good total area available for tools/crafts.Versatile with 2 separate bases plus 2 trays, bottom tray locks to make separate tray/base.3 Separate containers (1 removable) to store small screws/parts.Storage area for extension cord and bungee grips for placing something on top for transport.Small footprint and front wheel make it really easy (almost too easy) to move around. Can be pulled with handle, lifted or lifted separately. (by locking bottom base to bottom tray)Relatively strong for light/medium duty plastic. Top and Side Locks seem sturdy.Cons:Not good for storing large items due to intruding design for wheels, axle, front wheel, trays.Bottom base loses about 3" on bottom due to 3rd wheel and axle plus 3" from top for bottom tray. Bottom tray MUST be used to seat top base. Front parts holder doesn't lock properly and falls out. (had to add dbl sided tape non sticky side out to "push" the holder outwards against switch lock)Top base has 3" lost from the front for the storage container plus 3" from top for tray although top tray is not needed for functionality. Pull handle does not lock "down" so it sometimes gets pulled up when opening top. Also, it seems they forgot to order a "Keter Yellow" handle unlock switch as it is the only thing that is red (like other brands). It looks totally out of place. LOLAll in all I am very happy with it, I was able to fit everything in there. The biggest problem (of course) is the 3rd wheel. It messes up what would otherwise be a great storage space on the bottom. If you don't have the need for a large continuous space, this toolbox is perfect.

I would recommend not invest $75 in cheaply made plastic
This toolbox completely fell apart just after 5 months of usage. While the blueprint for it's design is quite functional and ideal, unless you are planning of rarely using this, I would recommend not invest $75 in cheaply made plastic, just to have it fall apart on you.

but it looks like the cap holding the wheel was just barely tacked ...
A little less than a year old and the wheel axle broke! I can understand the plastic parts breaking, but it looks like the cap holding the wheel was just barely tacked on in one spot. I liked the light weight. I bought the first one and this one to haul my grooming stuff in. It's supposed to haul tools, heavy metal stuff! It hauls a clipper, scissors, brushes, a comb, clipper blades, ear powder, bows, bandanas, and a small air force dryer. The first one got cracked on the bottom from hitting some rocks in sub zero weather. Totally understandable. The plastic hinges in the top lid broke same reason, and had clipper blades that needed sharpening in it, understandable. So, I supported the hinges on the new one by not allowing the top to flip open. But the wheels. Not acceptable. Shoddy and no one to even talk to about it.

Could we maybe have 3 1/2 stars?
This is a "pretty okay" product. It's rolling plastic boxes, there's really not much you can do to make it glamorous. It's fine for what I need, mostly, which is a portable office. I wish the bottom box were a bit larger so that printer paper and the like wouldn't curl while stored there, but it's supposed to be a tool box, not an office product, so there's that. I don't know that I'd load it down with lots of tools, though, the wheels, latches, and top handle all seem a bit light weight. My biggest irritation is that I'm 6' tall, and the top handle doesn't extend high enough for me to be comfortable towing it. I have to walk half bent over, which would get old fast if I had to move this thing on its wheels a lot.

Best box I ever used- no.2 for me since 1996.
I have bought 3 of these- gave one to a helper for one job, and will keep buying them until they stop making them this way, or something better comes along. I've looked at DeWalt, Stanley, and others, and they just don't do the same thing. I use this as my general carpentry box to go back and forth between jobs, but since retirement, use it around the house, mostly the upper half, and the whole thing to go to my son's to do work for him there. The lower half holds my cordless tools, and tray has bits and blades for the tools below. The upper part has my basic handtools, levels, prybars, drill and driver bits, knife, tape, etc. The parts bins hold spares and small parts. The front tray has a much better layout than my old one. I'll keep a basic assortment of fasteners so I can handle any situation.I started using this box in 1996, and did a whole summer of kitchen installs using it- it was perfect for that. I could roll the whole box in, and have everything I needed right in the kitchen. I am replacing only because the old one is pretty tired. Plastic doesn't last forever. What goes to pot on these is the top lid hinge- so you get creative and park it near a wall or object so you can lean the lid against something. I will try to be more careful with this one, but time does it in eventually. I'll reassign the old one for storage or for some other job, or fit it out for son's house and leave it there!
