I like the idea of a popcorn volcano. And, that's just what this product does; 'volcanoizes'. Popcorn lava anyone? A good idea, a fun idea. And the popcorn is delicious. Every time I popcorn, I have a party. Thank you Chefman!!!

Makes a amazing pop corn. Not one unpopped kernel left. The popcorn doesn't fly around. The attxhed bowl is a perfect idea and it is all dishwasher safe.

This wasn't a bad purchase for $15, overall. Most of my criticisms are positive. There are a few things that could make this better.THE GOODI haven't had air popped popcorn since i was a kid and my mother thought it was healthier than microwaved. So it's been awhile since i've used one of these machines. But this one seemed to pop really quickly.It's very easy to assemble, use, and clean.It stores well and doesn't take up much space.THE BADSince every piece slides onto the one below it, and doesn't latch into place, you have to get your hand under the fully assembled unit to pick it up without it coming apart. That's a bit annoying.There is no little chamber for heating butter while the popcorn pops. I usually put olive oil on mine, but once in awhile, i'd like to melt some butter without having to dirty another dish doing it in the microwave.Overall, good little product. If the bad aren't huge issues for you, then you'll like this.

The popcorn doesn’t taste good and seems to have a much crunchier texture than usual. Popcorn seeds go flying everywhere in the kitchen and about 25% of the finished bowl ends up being popcorn seeds that haven’t landed on the floor.Furthermore, I believe this appliance is a fire hazard. In the area where the seeds are placed to begin with, popped pieces collect there and get stuck. Then they continue to burn and make the kitchen smell like something is on fire.After several attempts to pop bag fulls for our Thanksgiving guests, the same thing happened over and over.I’m VERY disappointed, especially since we are huge popcorn fans in our house and we were excited to resume air-popping our own popcorn again, after our old faithful popped died.

I had a different make that was frustrating and popcorn would fly all over the kitchen. This solved that design flaw. Works great.

My major complaint is that a very large handful of kernels are left unpopped every time I use it.

Really like this pop corn maker. My only criticism is with air popped corn. Itis much drier than corn popped with oils.

Wanted a fast easy reliable air popper the chefman delivers!! Easy cleanup and pops 95% of the popcorn, I would recommend this product.

I have had air popped popcorn before, but this popper made the most horrible popcorn. It was soggy (not crunchy at all) and had a horrible metallic taste to it. I returned it pronto after first use. Do not buy this even if the price is attractive.

This popper had such potential. Unfortunately it just doesn't have the oomph to push the popcorn out of the heating chamber and into the bowl. And time to time it does have the oomph but it will take all the un-popped kernels with it.It works well if you only pop 20 kernels at a time but this is very time consuming.
