SWITCHEASY Case for iPad Pro 11" (M5 2025 / M4 2024, 6th/5th Gen), iPad Case fits Magic Keyboard with Graphene Heat Dissipation, Built-in Pencil Holder, Protective Cover, White 5.0

I received this item today, and am completely satisfied with it. It protects the sides of my 12.9 inch iPad Pro, holds the Apple Pencil snuggly, while still making it easy to access, and unlike one other review that I have read here, it does not cause the keyboard to "gap." Yes, it's very pricey for what you get, but if you want to have your pencil securely attached to your iPad Pro, you should buy it without hesitation.

2022 REVIEW: Overall the product does what it says it does. Unfortunately, the only USB-C cable that will fit and charge the iPad while this product is attached is the Apple OEM cable. Most other brand USB-Cables will not fit in the hole for the charging port and will be blocked from being fully inserted, thereby preventing charging or data transfer. I used a drill to widen the hole because I don't like to use my Apple OEM cables while I travel. If you've ever used an Apple OEM cable in your car or loaned it to a "friend" for five minutes, you now how the cables have a tendency of wandering off. I continue to use mine, but I figured I should mention this slight flaw so that others don't get caught off guard. Otherwise, it's very easy to use. It keeps the pen more secure than the magnet alone and works well with the keyboard and other magsafe covers. 2024 UPDATE: I fixed the cable issue by cutting out a bit around the USB-C port. Now all cables work fine. However I'm on my second one because they are flimsy and break easily. I won't be buying a third one because I'm lost my pencil twice. Thankfully, I found it each time, but I'm done. I changed my rating from 3 stars to 1 star. Save your money. PHOTOS: 1 & 2 w/ Apple Magic Keyboard and Cover. 3 & 4 w/ magsafe mount. Not the pencil bay is broken.

I feel like sometimes people see products and expect manufacturers to be able to deny the laws of physics. The truth is if you are looking for something that is compatible with the Magic Keyboard you have to understand you’re going to be getting something pretty thin. It has to be able to fit in clothes while using this keyboard and this product does exactly that. Yes, at one end the cover does not extend all the way, but that is simply because once again due to the laws of physics, two objects cannot occupy the same space at the same time lol. There would be no possible way to close this due to the fact of how the Magic Keyboard is set up. You were wanting to buy this if you want a cover that you could put on your iPad and pop it in and out of the Magic Keyboard case. You want something thin that will protect it from scratches. If you are looking for something super durable that could fall from 68 feet and still protected this isn’t for you. This isn’t some sort of OtterBox defender. For me, it did exactly what I wanted it to.

The SwitchEasy CoverBuddy for iPad is a very well-designed case that provides solid protection while maintaining a slim profile. It fits securely and works well with accessories, making it very practical for everyday use. Overall, it’s a premium-feeling and reliable iPad accessory that performs very well.

At first use it worked as described. It had a snug fit on the iPad and kept the pencil contained while charging. However, the plastic is so thin (so that the iPad continues it's connection with the magic keyboard) that even with light use it starts to crack and degrade around the openings on either end. These small pieces of plastic become very sharp and I have cut myself on them more than once. I really enjoyed this product while it was in tact, however for it's price tag it should last much longer. I've been dealing with it chipping and working with cut fingers for more than 7 months and I've only had it for 10mo. They say you get what you paid for...but this is not a cheap item. I'm so disappointed with it that I've taken it off completely and can't get a refund.

Update to below: the vendor ultimately replaced the unit free of charge. It took maybe 2 weeks but they stood behind their product. I do like the product and assume the connector issue was a one off so I would recommend the CoverBuddy. I wouldn't buy this without an extended warranty. My Amazon return window expired July 31. On August 31 one of the 3 required magnetic connectors (that connects the keyboard to the iPad) fell out. So now the cover is useless and I paid for essentially 2 months of protection. The manufacturer should stand behind their product better than that.

**UPDATE** 09/22/2021 The IPAD connectors broke up and now I have a useless flimsy case. - Stay away from this Unfortunately, I have more complaints than good things to say about this case. Since it has no alternative, it is the only game in town if you want a case that also attaches magnetically to the magic keyboard Minus 1-Like others have mentioned, after you put on the case it won't totally close (meaning you will experience a lot of battery drain. 2-Depending on your charging cable, it might no longer fit as the hole its too narrow - I have to charge using the keyboard port 3-The materials are very fragile and I have zero hope the iPad will survive a drop 4-Its way overprice Plus The magnets are very strong and the iPad feels very secure

The case fit perfectly with my iPad and Magic Keyboard. It seems like they fixed the not-closing-completely problem as you can see in my second photo!! The pencil holder is a bit larger than the pencil size but it still secures the pencil well and I think it would be good for people who are using a case with their pencil. I’m not sure about the durability though since I’ve just used this for a few days, will update in a few months.

Solo case senza custiodia

El material es de buena calidad. Los acabados son buenos. Se siente resistente y facilita la manipulación. El precio es un poco alto pero vale la pena.

Awesome product, fits the I pad 11 really well, houses the pencil maintaining it’s safety. Also charges while in the Cover Buddy. Fantastic product well worth the purchase if a little pricy in my opinion

Je le trouve bien, il protège bien le pencil et l ipad. Un peu plus dur d acces pour les boutons volumes et n est pas protégé sur le dessous de la tablette. Par contre, il est très magnétique et se detache rarement

As described Nice piece of kit
