Kuro HIME Japanese Maple - Black Princess Maple - A Tough Dwarf Maple with Ever Changing Leaf Color- 3 - Year Live Plant

Picture is deceptive (perhaps not purposefully so.) It is not whitish with pink edges. It is green with reddish edges, which is fine with me. It is a beautiful little (for now) plant. I ordered this and another seedling and they came undamaged, just breaking dormancy, and the soil was still damp. I go another plant that came crammed in the box and soil was desiccated so just know it appears you'll get luck of the draw. However this one was great! Very happy with it, it unfurled in the first week and is a beautiful. It will take years to become mature, which is fine with me. Just enjoy it for what it is now.

I received this sapling last year. I was a little disappointed about its size. It was quite small for a 3-year sapling. After surviving through the winter, the buds on the tree did not leaf out and the tree dried up and died, despite being carefully watered. It’s unfortunate considering the cost of the sapling was $39+.

Great maple can't wait to plant

This was less than 1/4" tall when it arrived. I would give it 2 stars except that it's trying to leaf out. I am not sure how the vendor calculates the age of their grafts, because they are consistently much smaller than any other vendors I have encountered. But I couln't find this tree anywhere else, so fingers crossed it will continue to grow.

I've purchased two of these from this seller. I initially thought my fiance killed the first one but she swore up and down she took good care of it while I was out of town. So... u bought another one and the same thing happened. It budded and leafed out a little and then it just dried up and died.It is advertised as an older plant than it actually is. It was recently grafted. So obviously not what is advertised. Sadly... I'd say don't waste your money.

Tree looks heathy but so tiny. Don't think is 3year plant,Got me Japanese maple tree 1year plant at Walmart only $15 and much taller then this one I paid for $40+$10 shipping. 😒

SMALL BUT IS GROWING FAST

Arrived in a very damaged, and poorly packaged box. My other plants died, and this one had some damage. However, it has already started sprouting leaves! I'm very excited to see this little guy servived after some delicate nursing and seems to be pulling through!
