Teavana tea storage 4 tins

I used herbal tea bags, that are shaped round. They are the perfect fit, well made. Double lid for freshness. The colors are beautiful.

I have two of these on my desk at work. The photo shows them next to my 12oz cup for size comparison.I love the lid colors. I assigned one color for my morning tea and another for my decaf afternoon tea. No labeling needed. The body of the cans is a simple gray, nothing flashy, which I like. The size is perfect for my needs: it fits a couple dozen teaspoons of loose leaf, so I'm good for weeks.It feels well constructed. The lid comes off smoothly but not too easily that you'd be concerned. The seal on the inside is likewise easy to pop out but still secure.

Bought two sets, glad I did. These are small about 2oz of loose tea. I needed several tins for one variety of tea. The tins are great. I love the plastic second (inside) lid, which has a pull area to hook a finger under, instead of a knob like other tea tins. One of the tins (out of the 8) the inner lid fits loosely. That tin became my “current immediate use” tea tin as the tea will not stay as fresh in that one because if it. I also like that the tins take labels so well. I use a Brother labeler and can change our labels as needed. Peeling a label off has not damaged the tins so far. Very pleased.

I've been looking high and low for the right sized tea tins for August Uncommon tea in the 15 cup size. These tins have 2oz capacity so not too much as to have extra oxidizing air and not too little that it can fit all of the tea even if it's fluffy. It met all needs: 1) modern and not twee 2) can buy more than one set (even though they're discontinued) 3) lightweight (unlike Mason jars) 4) have double lids 5) light blocking.Two arrived dented, so I wouldnt recommend sending as a gift without checking them first. I intend to buy another set or two.

I'm happy with these tea tins. For the 4 flavors (black, tumeric, and fruit/herbal) of tea I have these tins are perfect for 2oz. of tea. When they arrived 2 of the tins were dented, but I just put the dented side in the back, so it doesn't really bother me. I write the name of the tea on the side with dry erase markers and that seems to be working. I don't know how air tight they are, but they are small enough that I'll finish the tea before it's a real concern.

Smaller than I thought they'd be (I didn't read the description carefully enough), but they work well for smaller amounts of tea. Not fully airtight, but better than some.

These are nice tins, made in Japan. The metal caps fit well, but no too tight (sometimes metal twist lids on metal tins can be a problem). The plastic inner lid helps keep things fresh. They hold a little more than 7 ounces by volume. I use 2"x4" removable labels I pre-printed with areas to write in type, temp, and time.(If purchasers receive damaged tins, they should return them to Amazon for refund or replacement.)

I received my order with the orange one dented on the lid . All others were great love them and no why to return just the one need to send back all but don’t want to
