Good product
It takes about 40-50 minutes to make 45 cups of coffee. Good quality and works as intended. Must have for a large gathering.

Keeps water hot
This was a second hand buy. I've purchased second hand before and haven't been disappointed. Keeps water, use as a hot water pot, hot!! Very good item.

Simple, well built.
Very well made. Simple. Easy to clean. I have had a couple of these. Used every day (all 365) and twice on weekends. Generally last 2-3 years. I have tried other brands, this is my favorite.

Makes good coffee and a lot of it
I got tired of running out of drip coffee towards the end of the day, and wanted something bigger. No one makes plumbing with unlimited hot coffee on demand. Made 20-25 cups yesterday, good coffee, tastes a bit better than drip, and it's as quick. Minor setbacks: Probably true of all percolators, it leaves about one cup in the bottom, with the finer coffee grounds in it. It is possible to tip it and extract the last. If you have a coffee mug, it's probably an inch or two taller than the spout on the urn, so you have to tilt it under, or move the urn to the countertop edge. Both of these are minor. And fresh coffee can be refrigerated in a glass or suitable plastic container for a day or three after it cools on the counter a bit. Now I plan to make coffee maybe once every four days.
