Very happy with Pixel 2
After using my new Pixel 2 phone for 4 days I really love it. This OLED screen is gorgeous, the camera is fantastic, and it's very speedy. This phone has been updated to Android 9. Happy I chose the Pixel 2 for the savings over the newer model. The picture shows the unboxing. Very securely packaged from the seller and it arrived 2 days prior to promised date. It was delivered signature required, so no worries about porch pirates. There is no sim card in the phone, but a tool is sent. It takes a nano sim card. I just transferred the nano sim from my old Nexus into the Pixel 2 and I was immediately connected to the AT&T network. Google handled the transfer of all my data and apps from the old phone over wifi at home. There is a prompt to start and automatic from there. Very convenient. The charger provided has a Motorola logo, so it is not Google OEM equipment. But, it works fast and the plug folds down, so it will be a good one to travel with. Other reviewers are correct, there is no headphone adapter included. Contrary to what other reviewers have written, there is no promise in the product description that they will send an adapter. I may order one because I have a set of wired noise cancelling headphones I still like. Clearly, all the manufacturers are giving us a sharp elbow to the ribs to purchase wireless earbuds, so if you are a change resister, you might not be happy about that. The Pixel 2 has the 'active edge' to activate the Google Assistant and that turns out to be a very useful feature and simple to train. The one aspect of this phone I am not thrilled about is battery life. The battery is 2700mAH according to the Google store. This is why I gave the item 4 stars rather than 5, but still, glad I purchased this phone, and no problems with it. I will update if something happens and I need to use the amazon renew guarantee.

Took forever to get it, but I really appreciate refurbished electronics.
Great phone! It's worked well for as long as I had it. It took over a week to get it, and was a nightmare. I ordered it while on assignment in Nevada, and it came the day before we left, although it should have arrived six days prior. The phone has been good though!

Some warnings...
Physically, the phone I received is in excellent shape. No scratches or damage, parts work as expected. As others noted, this didn’t come with a headphone adapter, or a transfer adapter. And the charger works but it’s aftermarket. These are small concerns and I’m not knocking points off for this. Some warnings that would have made this transaction much more pleasant:This phone is GSM unlocked, not CDMA. If your carrier is not a GSM carrier, your old SIM card will not work. My Verizon SIM was useless. Do your homework first. If you intend to use Google Fi as a carrier, you will need a free physical SIM card. eSIM only works if you bought your phone directly from Google. Once you have a Fi account Google will send you one for free, but it will take a few days. See if you can get one before the phone arrives. Some stores, like Best Buy, sell them as well.I spent maybe five hours chatting with tech support, as well as a few emails and calls to this seller, to learn these things. Had the listing been clear, I would have known what to expect. I would have put the work in up front to get a physical SIM that did what I needed. Because these things were not clear from the listing, I am now 100% without text or cell until next week. I knocked two stars off this review solely for the lack of information.

Gambling.
I'll be honest here, I got REALLY lucky with the quality of the phone. It looked brand-new! The texture on the back of the pixel 2 was still there, there was no marks, scratches, or damage done to the phone, and the battery was as stated in the description! I'm honestly impressed.I was freaking out because ordering these is like Russian roulette, and luckily, I didn't get the bullet. Everything works fine, and I will update if anything bad happens. Comparing ebay to this order, I would take this over ebay anyday as it looks brand new. But, one advantage to ebay is that you actually know what you are getting.

I don't feel cheated, but I am a bit disappointed.
In short, this phone seems more aptly described as "used" in condition than "refurbished."I was under the impression that the difference between "used" and "refurbished" was that refurbished phones are inspected and any sub-par parts are replaced with parts that meet the requirements. These phones (I purchased 2 - one for myself and one for my mother) appear to simply have been taken in, factory reset, and resold. The processors seem to be in decent shape, but the batteries have a shorter life than our previous phones that we both used for 3 years without ever replacing the battery. My Pixel 2 also has an issue where as soon as it's below 20%, it has a random chance of suddenly shutting off at any given moment. The refurbished condition also states that there may be minor cosmetic flaws, but both of our phones have scratches on the screen - they are small enough that they aren't a constant distraction, but large enough to occasionally get in the way of some things being displayed on the screen.Overall, the phones were a bit disappointing in some departments, but the performance is fine for the price paid.

I am satisfied with this phone
I was concerned the battery life would be diminished given the Pixel 2 is several years old but to my surprise it has held its charge as if it was new. I have gone with a dark theme on every app, if it is offered, to minimize battery usage to further extend between charges. My previous phone was a Lumia 950 which honestly, I would still be using if the ecosystem hadn't dried up. Overall I am very satisfied with the Pixel 2 and would recommend it

Surprisingly Good
I was a bit worried about buying a used/refurbished old phone, but the cheaper cost was what drew me in.I have to admit it was worth the risk. The phone came in pretty good shape, no dents, or marks, or scratches.Screen came with a protection cover that was in good shape. The phone also came with a plastic back cover. Both of the above can be removed/replaced.What worried me mostly was the battery, but considering I am low-medium usage user, I would say the battery is holding on sufficiently, requiring me to charge it once, maybe twice a day (considering this is a 3 years old phone). In terms of phone performance, it is what you would expect from a pixel 2, nothing mind blowing, but a worthy replacement for my OnePlus X.Overall, would buy again.

Big scratch on the screen
When it arrived, the phone, charger and cable were all floating loose in the larger box, with the actual phone box just open and empty around it. It had a screen protector, which I thought had a 1cm long scratch on it - so I removed it. Alas, it turned out the scratch is on the screen. and it is a very obvious one, not a mild scuff. Rest of the phone appears to be in good shape.

Battery is the only issue
The phone was in great condition, it was fast and everything worked great. Except for the battery. The battery died so fast. It would literally go down 2% every second. Other than that it was ok.

Poor Functioning Phone
I purchased this phone May 2020. Only been 8 months. The phone itself looked very new and there are no scratch, no complaints about that. When I received the phone, I was not able to transfer music to it from my old phone nor add any new music. I still kept it, because that was not a big deal for me. After 5 months, I was not able to attach files from my photos when composing emails. I get a prompt: "files keep stopping" I tried the same with a family member's phone and it worked fine so I know its not the actual email that's faulty. Checked storage on phone -40GB free, so its not storage space. Tried restarting but nothing. Used phones are not for me.
