Great boots - and good value
This is my second pair of Dirt Boots....the first were the more expensive design (£39) with the additional grip, and they lasted two years before the grip wore out and the heels started detaching. But as I had used them pretty intensively for that period, they were great value, so I bought this new pair (£29). They are as good as the first pair, but are more flexible on the sole, so better for walking. The slip-on openings are, as others say, pretty tight so I need to use a shoe horn - but that means they fit snuggly and don't slip off my heel. My first pair (size 8) were a little loose but this pair, nominally the same size, are a little tight on the toes which may contradict other buyer reviews. I bought brown this time and it helps reduce the look of 'bulkiness' that the black ones had, and don't look like cut down wellies that the green probably do! The grip on slippery muddy slopes is far better than my wellingtons but the penalty for their lower heel-height (vs. wellingtons) is muddy smears on the inside of jeans. I had purchased 'carp' or fishing-type shoes a couple of times before as a lightweight option and they were a complete waste of money - the soles split pretty quickly. So, all in all, I thoroughly recommend these boots

Comfy & lightweight
Unlike cheap wellies, these have good structure & support - without weighing a ton.

Great All Rounder for any use - Long term report
Just coming up to 3 years use and these are still going strong. When its bad, these are the go to boots. I use them mainly for dog walking and all day cycle events. Just like slippers and you only need normal socks for summer or winter. When they arrived, they took some getting on as the top is snug. Still need the Ikea 2 foot shoe horn(£1) to get then on so you have been warned. For the comfort and versatility though, I wouldn't want anything else. Handle rough terrain and footpaths for hours on end. No splits or damage in 36 months. I think the sole going thin will be the game changer. Easy answer will be another pair!

Letting in water after 2 months
Bought these to take dogs on fields when grass is wet ,so not all of the time ,pretty comfortable to wear ,was shocked how quickly they have started letting water in as I bought them in may and it's only July, could understand if I was walk on paths all the time but it's only 500 yards to the fields, they look good when you get them and they fit well but they are cheaply made and not worth the money, don't normally comment on stuff but was well disappointed with them ,wouldn't have been bothered if I got 6 months out of them but 2 months is not on

Comfortable
Good waterproof muck boots. Good grip. Sturdy. Firm around ankles which is good. Very pleased with my purchase.

Massive price increase from 2 years ago
I bought these in 2018 when they cost £19.99. How can they now be £49.99 only 3 years later? They are very comfortable. BUT as others have said, the sole quite quickly came away from the boot in one area, so no longer waterproof, and boot fills with water if splashing through puddles. Not really fit for purpose. Shame really, as the styling and comfort is great.
