I have average-height arches, but I over-pronate, have bunions, and a history of plantar faciitis - and these are vastly better than the expensive custom orthotics prescribed to me by podiatrists over the years! I'm able to walk my usual 4-7 miles a day in these without foot pain, and - along with choosing shoes with sufficient toe room - have had no worsening of my bunions in years because of these magical insoles! Because they're very stiff and very thin, they can be used to add support to both shoes with *no* arch support, *and* ones with *insufficient* arch support (too low, too squishy, etc.), making extended standing *much* more comfortable, while the metatarsal pad and 3/4 length allow your toes and forefoot to flex while walking (provided your shoes are flexible enough), which helps keep your foot muscles in shape and helps prevent faciitis. I like to switch mine out between different shoes throughout the week for foot health. These are a really high quality insole: my last pair lasted through 10+ years of daily use before the heel pads began to fall out and the leather began to fray. And I've never needed to deodorize or clean them - the leather and plastic naturally resist odors. They do have a couple of limitations, though: 1) Because they are stiff and flat, they won't work in high heels that put your heel on a "shelf" above the rest of your foot. That said, I've worn them regularly in shoes with 1-2" heels and they work fine. 2) While they *do* come with a small adhesive pad in the heel to adhere them to your shoe if you wish, be aware that choosing to use it will *drastically* shorten their lifespan. The adhesive pad is directly attached to a foam heel pad that is intended to protect the bone of your heel from pain and the development of bone spurs. In time, the adhesive (if used, particularly in an open shoe like a sandal or a slip-on) will pull this pad apart from the rest of the insole, making them much less comfortable... and also no longer adhered to your shoe.

I did find that the sticky pad did not work as well as I had hoped, and that they would move down too far in my shoes, but I added some double sided sticky tape and that made them stay where I need them completely. The surprise was then that these worked better than the full length ones I had purchased for a different pair of shoes. These are more supportive and more comfortable than others!

These insoles give good support. They fit all my flat shoes, and the feet do not feel squeezed. Keep in mind that these insoles are rigid, not flexible. I don’t find them uncomfortable though. I didn’t try the adhesive yet because I move them from shoes to shoes.

I’ve had to wear custom made, expensive, orthotics. These had the bump in the front for the Morton’s Neroma, which I have. Trying to put thick orthotics into dressy shoes or wearing them with sandals doesn’t work. The leather is very good, the orthotic is well made and overall I could see these would wear well and last. The drawback for me with these is that my arches are so low that the arch support hits me right in the bony arch and that was painful. The only solution would be to put a double foam shoe insole on top, but that would take up space, defeating the purpose of the orthotic.

Wanted metatarsal support in an orthotic without filling the toebox and cramping the toes. These do an amazing job of lifting the arches and spreading the toes while being thin, light and comfy.

Having falling arches is no fun and these arch support are exceptional now no pain in walking and I’m comfortable all day!! I have bought more for my family for Christmas

The little round sticky under the sole didn't hold them in place after a day of wear. Felt good and comfortable. They would slide forward when I went to put my shoes on. Frustrating. Just can't recommend these.

Muy comodas y no agregan mucho volumen, yo las puse en zapatos de vestir y quedaron muy bien. La piel y el acabado es de muy buena calidad. Muy recomendables, solo asegurense de elegir el tamaño correcto. Aunque se pueden intercambiar tienen un adhesivo para dejarlas fijas, yo voy a comprar mas para tenerlas para cada par de zapatos.
