We we keep this on hand when we've had dairy, as it helps thin mucous. Taking Health Life Mucus Relief will also be a life saver if you have a cold or sinus issues. It is amazing how well it clears that "gunky" feeling, and helps you be able to blow your nose or cough productively. Note, this is not a decongestant, but a medication that thins mucous. The value of this large bottle is amazing! Every home would be wise to have some on hand.

Husband had so much congestion and mucus that he was beyond miserable. I bought these and he said while it wasn't a magic pill, they definitely helped. If you aren't terribly congested, it probably works great.

I live on this stuff for my fibromyalgia. This guaifenesin is immediate release, so there are no issues in trying to metabolize other compounds before the guaifenesin can be utilized. The caplets are small and easy to swallow. They also have none of the ridiculous dye of some brands (you could dye an Easter egg with the blue dye in some brands). I find this brand to be my favorite formulation of the many I have tried. Interestingly, sometimes you can get bottles of 300, and sometimes only of 200 caplets; it's a bit puzzling, but it works either way.

This stuff works as good as any other brand. It is just the mucus relief. Sometimes I don't need the whole cold med mixture, but I need this. Especially when I am getting over a cold but the chest stuff lingers. Cheaper than brand name. Only 400 mg so you can take as much as you need. 400/800/1200. Works great for me. It is an oblong tablet. Not coated or if it is not much. Not too big though. You get 200 in this bottle. It does have a child proof lid, so maybe elderly will need help opening.
