Great product does what it’s advertised, doesn’t necessarily do anything for the hardness of the water, but it’s not a softer, the lifespan of the filter all depends on how dirty your water is, I have really bad water, so I changed mine after a month. I think you’re sacrificing lifespan of filter for the flow rate which is good , Overall does work well.

Filters work really well and are very ready to install. Subscribed so I could get them on a schedule.

The frustration I had when I tried to find a good shower filter is I cannot judge their claims by myself as an ordinary consumer. I wonder who else can precisely. But when I found this project, it simply said "Wow", because this product is fully certified and verified by industry-leading organizations such as NSF and the 100-year-old lab. To make this better, I was able to transparently see what's going on inside the shower filter cartridge. And the filter cartridge replacement is a piece of cake in heaven. What else I need than this?I am little puzzled at the complains on the review about the water pressure drop. I also saw it dropped, but I'd rather glad to see the drop, because it is the untouchable proof the filter cartiridge is actually "working". This is why I happily gave up using self-claimed products that I cannot judge by myself and started using this.Hope this helps.

I purchased the duo filter directly from the proprietor. And after less than 1 week, the white side of the filter was BROWN. Brown like mud. I live in Nassau County NY (Long Island). And the water is bad here. I then bought the replacement filters from Amazon, and the same thing. In less than 1 week, the white filter was very brown. There was NO change in water pressure. And the water feels soft on my skin. However that brown guck is unsightly to look at while showering. I also noticed that after I changed the filters after about 3 days, somehow the fit had loosened and water started spewing and spraying everywhere. What a disaster. This filter may be great for someone whose water isn’t that bad. But if your water is kinda bad, this filter will not last the 5-6 months they say.

The filters are easy to change, I recommend buying more, our house has original rusty water pipes, so the filters are more often dirty, but for the price of clean water, it is worth using water filters.

Filters fit perfectly and are doing their job well. Will purchase again when needed.
