Easy to change

Snapped the handle off my upvc window and thought i'd try a diy fix as someone i know had called out the people that fitted their windows to repair 2 handles at a cost of £150.Found this at £4.99 and thought what's to lose?Item arrived next day and took 5 minutes to install.I was worrried that it wouldn't fit but it appears these windows are pretty much standard despite mine being over 20 years old.Anyone with a screwdriver can fit these so don't be ripped off by having a professional out to do the job.The handle doesn't feel as sturdy as the old one and i doubt it will do 20 years like the old one but that's the way it is with everything these days.It's a throw away and buy a new one society that we live in.Would definately recommend these handles.

Needed to purchase a window handle I have never had to change a handle before on a current existing windows. After looking through so many I chose the upv one for my current windows as well as price. I must say being my first time doing this it was easy even though I took a gamble after measuring up everything with instructions I came across on line and hoped I had done so correctly. Once I started to install it was easy. I would recommend these window handles.

Our UPVC windows were solid and steady but one snapped and one broke off. Time to get a replacement! Take your existing one and measure from the bit that the screws hole in your window to the end of the handle bit. Average length is 20mm.These were easy to install and feel solid although much smaller in size and work great for both left and right opening.The screws, screw cover (you only get one for the top and not the bottom which is covered by the handle when closed I guess) and keys are in their own separate plastic part in the main bag that the handle itself comes in. Was such a pain to rip open properly. Why not package these in 3 separate bags that you don’t spend ages trying to rip open? I guess I should have used scissors.These are also reallllllly tight. I suspect they will hopefully loosen up over time so hopefully can provide an update at a later time but they feel solid and work so that’s enough for us.

Only 1 cover for the screws provided. So when you leave the window open the screw under the handle is visible, don’t look good.Easy to install although does seem a bit flimsyOver all a good product except the one screw cover issue.

First of all this is a brilliant price for a handle with lock and it’s very sturdy. However the only gripe is that the screw it came with was a little loose so wouldn’t go in properly. Luckily I have lots of spare screws so was able to get there in the end. Not a big deal but would be annoying for someone if they didn’t have the right screws!
