Thrilled! A great balance of packability, durability, clarity. Horsepackers all around choice!
I wanted a pair of binoculars for a backcountry horse packing trip but deciding which ones to order was hard because I wanted a good, strong pair that could handle distance and wildlife viewing yet at the same time I cant deal with a giant pair on horseback. Price was also an issue because you never know with this sort of thing of they are going to stay totally dry, protected or whatever and I wasn't really wanting to risk a really fancy pair of optics for what could turn into somewhat rough use. That said, I have owned my share of junky binoculars and I didn't want to buy crap. So, based on the reviews, I rolled the dice and bought these. They are wonderful! Exactly what i need for this sort of trip! I'll be using these a lot and of for sure these are the ones I recommend for anyone else with similar situation. They are easy to focus and see out of, small enough to keep close so you can get to them quickly and not miss a chance. Clear beautiful vision and the protective lens covers allow you to keep them out but protected at the same time. No fumbling around for what you need when you need it.

CINBOS vs Vortex Diamondback
Very good product for the price. I did a side-by-side evaluation with Vortex Diamondback 10x42. They are almost identical in size and weight. The Vortex is 4.5 oz heavier. In bright daylight you will be challenged to notice difference with optics between the two. However, there is a notable difference in low light conditions; The vortex is significantly better. Clearly the vortex is a higher quality and comes with an awesome warranty. Though these CINBOS are a really good option for the money at 1/4th the cost.

Read on for good advice, friend.
Very cheap product--has the magnification of a child's toy pair, and constructed much the same. Not even able to move binoculars into a position that would allow the image to come together due to such poor design. Even though I knew this was probably a cheapo import since good binos just don't go at this price, I was still very disappointed. The reviewer who stated that all of the 5-star ratings occurring over one month was suspicious was insightful and likely correct. I know you want to believe you can get a decent pair of binos for this price, but just keeping looking. You will be glad you passed these over. Plan to return.

good but not waterproof
Good binocular. I was quit happy with them. Nonetheless, they are not waterproof as described. Fortunately, after my accident in water, the seller/ amazon took them back because they did not dry out.

Just average would be good
I ordered the Cinbos Panther 12x42 Binoculars. I want to be clear because many of the reviews don't seem to be about this model. When I received the package it appeared to be previously opened. The binoculars are light weight. I liked the eyepiece that moved out to give eye relief. The body was of a type plastic that seemed ok but not high quality. There was a strap, built in covers for the optics, and a fabric case. Again, not real high quality. The field of view was a little odd compared to your standard 7x35 or 10x50 . I side by side compared these to a 1980's Tasco 7x50, A 1990's Simmons 10x50, and a much older pair of East German Marine 8x30 binoculars a fiend gave me. All three of my old binoculars outperformed the Cinbos Panthers in both light gathering (brighter view) and in resolution. They description says BAK4 prisms and my others are Porro Prism but still I expect modern optics to outperform 30 year old binoculars and these Cinbos Panthers just can't hang with the old standards. As far as amplification (12x), I can pick out a lot more detail with my 10x50's and even my 8x30's side by side.I was hoping that at the $60 price point of these Cinbos Panthers I would get decent optics (both quality and the more expensive coatings) that would move me into this century. Didn't happen and I returned these and was happy to see them gone. I guess I'll keep looking.

Just what you need for a cruise!
I bought two of these for us so that we could see better on a cruise to the Panama Canal and they worked great. They're very easy to focus, light to carry, and they come with attached lens protectors that you can't lose when you pop them off to look. We found them invaluable to spot all sorts of things from our balcony on the ship and they made the cruise much more interesting since we could see so much more detail in anything we looked at. Other passengers often asked couldn't they use them too and many obviously regretted they hadn't thought to buy their own. Recommended.

Crisp, Clear Images
Nice pair of binoculars. Crisp clear images with favorable weight. One improvement would be to include a strap for the binoculars. Nice case that does include a strap.
