These (and the older but very much the same model, HV-094) are undoubtedly my favorite headphones of all time. They are tiny, but don't go *in* your ear canal but rather hang on the outer ear (you need to try this to understand if you never tried this type of earphones). This means that: 1. they don't hurt the ear even after a long time, 2. they don't shut off external sounds (which I guess can be a downside in certain environments, but excellent for usage in a usually-quiet home). 3. They simply don't fall out of the ear. They also sound great for my non-audiophile ears. Finally, these earphones are cheap... My 35-year experience with earphones shows me that every wired earphones I ever owned always broke. Usually, it's the cable that goes first and makes the whole set unusable. Even if I get a $100 set after at most a year, the cable becomes useless. These earphones are no exception, and in my experience usually last (with heavy usage!) about a year, but - they are so cheap, you can just get a new one without any regrets. These earphones are so good, and so much more convenient than all the common in-ear earphones that everyone else sells, that I'm always afraid Panasonic stops making these, so I actually keep a stockpile of these :-) If the earphone apocalypse comes around, I'm covered.

These buds just play well in everything I own. I've got Edifer, Koss, JVC, Sennheiser, Sony, Phillips, and who knows what else. Only the Sennheisers compare with these when compatibility is figured into the equation. If you impedance match you buds and headphones to your electronics as do I then you will end up with many sets. Trying to find a happy medium where the sound is no muffled or volume clipped on one device or just plain bad on another while working on your favorite player is a challenge. These Panasonic buds work quite nicely on them all and I mean all. I am particular about buds and phones and I was honestly quite surprised by the quality and sonic performance. Very surprised. Like I do on all my buds, I put foam cushions on them to keep 'em in my fat ears. L and R are easily distinguished but not necessary as these are bilaterally symmetrical. As opposed to most every other vendor, they come in an easily opened package marked for recycling and with minimal content. Low cost, great compatibility, sonically outstanding (to my ears, anyways), minimal recyclable packaging...these are just great and for less than $20 you get far more performance than many are able to offer for a lot more $$.

the earphone volume sounds actually pretty good and I think its far better than apples included headphones for the iphone 7. there are some definite disadvantages though. this works great for plugging into a laptop and although normally a sign of good earphone audio is that they produce powerful sound at low volume. that is not the case for these. you need to turn this up to about 36 in windows to get decent sound. although once I damaged the earphones with the 99.5 decibel source ive turned that down to 20. the earphones still sound fine but it is disappointing. the audio source was stereo converted to surround sound then converted to stereo and then raised to 99.1 with a perceptive decibel increasing tool. anyway although these are great headphones more powerful drivers or some way of providing the earphones more power would have been preferred for a higher price. these are good headphones and incredibly cheap. just try not to break them. because although the audio quality is good. these are the easiest earphones to break ive ever owned. although i frequently break headphones and earphones. still I might actually buy this again. hopefully theyll last for a couple more months.

I prefer this design, they fit me well. I don't use them for music so the sound quality is fine for my purposes. I'm on my 3rd pair, they last a year or so. The price has increased from about $7 over the past few years but are still affordable.

I like this type of bud as it does not seal the ear canal and you can still hear what's going on around you... These are not super "high fidelity" so if you want them for critical music listening, I'd pass... But for casual listening or for privately watching YouTube videos and such they are just fine. Bass is suprisingly good for something so inexpensive. I use them with my laptops and tablets when I don't want the audio to disturb others. The only down side is that they are not very rugged and can't take a lot of abuse, which unfortunately I give mine... Typically this results in one side going quiet... Then I just buy another set.

The headset was working only for 5 months, which is quite a short product life for an expesive simple headset. However, it is worth mentioning that while it was working, the sound was indeed very good. Coincidentally, no guaranty was offered with this purchase.
