The applicator doesn’t deposit color - it just soaks up the pigment. It makes application time consuming (because I wanted it to work and wasted a lot of time trying), but coverage is minimal to nonexistent.

Applicator is horrible
This power works okay but the applicator is so small it is very difficult to cover large areas. If you want to cover gray roots I spray Loreal Root cover up spray on a large make up brush and it applies 300x better than this thing and lasts longer.

I’m the sponge is good for blending; however, the color doesn’t cover very well. Multiple applications are required to cover gray.
