Great Protection for Upholstery and Fabric
I wanted something to help protect my furniture and fabric from everyday spills, and this spray has been easy to use. The fine mist applies evenly, dries quickly, and doesnโt leave behind a sticky residue or strong odor. I like that itโs water-based and works on different fabric surfaces, giving me extra peace of mind in a busy home. Itโs a simple way to help keep upholstery looking cleaner for longer.

it actually repels spills.
Iโm honestly so impressed with this fabric protector! I used it on my couch, rugs, and even a pair of light-colored shoes, and it works amazing. It dries quickly, doesnโt leave any weird smell, and most importantly it actually repels spills. I tested it with milk and a little juice, and everything just beaded up instead of soaking in. As a mom, this gives me so much peace of mind knowing my furniture is protected from everyday messes. I also love that itโs non-toxic and water-based, so I feel safe using it around my baby. Super easy to apply and definitely worth it. Iโll be buying this again!

Great fabric protection that really works
Iโve been really happy with this fabric protector. It sprays on evenly, dries quickly, and doesnโt leave any sticky residue or strong odor. It helps repel spills and keeps my fabric looking clean without changing the texture. Easy to apply and definitely worth having to protect furniture and other fabric surfaces. Highly recommend!

Maybe I got a bad batch
I really wanted this product to work. I followed what application directions there were carefully. I applied ProtectME to a standard polypropylene rug (about 80 sq ft), using the recommended 3.3 fl oz per 10 sq ft. I worked it in with light buffing using a soft cloth, and I applied a second after 30 minutes (this method is recommended for high traffic areas). I waited over 24 hours for the product to cure fully before testing. Despite all that, there was no visible effect. Water didnโt bead, and nothing suggested the rug had any kind of protection. I could smell the product as it was drying, itโs not terrible, but itโs not pleasant. So something definitely was on my rug, but there was no evidence that it worked as a hydrophobic barrier. According to the companyโs own guidance, only certain fabric types require extra product or more intensive application. My rug doesnโt fall into any of those categories. Itโs not natural fiber, itโs not outdoor-rated, and itโs not especially absorbent or textured. I followed the usage rate exactly, and nothing in the documentation suggested Iโd need significantly more than one bottle. Itโs frustrating that I applied the product correctly and still saw zero performance. Thereโs no coverage chart, no clear indication of what saturation looks like, and no way to confirm youโve done it right until after itโs cured and tested. If you follow the process and get no effect, thatโs not reasonable for $40 when competing brands that have materials that are not identified as harmful and still need to be tested, but there are other nontoxic brands and they cost significantly less than $40 a bottle. If the companyโs position is that a second bottle is required to make it work, I think they should provide that, because Iโm now locked in. Their own literature says you canโt reapply another product on top of this one for up to a year until the product is worn off, but how would I know that the product was worn off because thereโs no detectable effects to begin with, so what am I supposed to do now? This has already taken time, effort, and planning. I wanted this product to work. If they think that a second bottle would work I would be willing to try it, but thereโs no way that Iโm paying another $40 for it though. I passed up other cheaper options due to unclear safety data, but also that no one had any complaints. In retrospect, maybe thatโs kind of sketchy, but people couldnโt stop raving about it and I donโt even have a complicated rug so I donโt know whatโs going on here. Maybe it was a bad batch or something. If theyโre not open to correcting their defective product or helping me determine whether I needed a second bottle in the first place and helping me out there because I purchased this one based on what little guidance was available that this would be sufficient, then I need clear instructions on how to remove this product entirely so I can start over with something that actually works.

It works great, even on delicate fabric
This stuff actually works really well. It doesnโt have any weird smell. I did the water test and itโs best to do two coats of it to get the best results but it really does work. I was also surprised how gentle it is, I used it on some silk chairs and it worked perfectly.

A helpful layer of protection for kidsโ messes
Iโve been really happy with the ProtectME Fabric Protector and Stain Resistant Spray so far. I tested it on a pair of shoes and on a section of my couch where my kids sit the most, since that area tends to get the most wear and spills. The spray was easy to apply and didnโt leave behind a strong chemical smell. I like that itโs water-based and feels like a safer option for use around my family. The fabric still looks and feels the same after applying it, and Iโm hoping it helps make future messes easier to clean up. So far, it seems like a great preventative product for protecting high-traffic areas like furniture and shoes. Iโll continue using it on other fabrics around the house.

Protects your fabric from stains.
Easy to apply, no nasty fumes and does a great job at waterproofing fabrics of all types. Absolutely no change in colour, texture or look of the fabric after application. The trigger pack is a bit noisy when you squeeze the handle but it did the job just fine.
