Hotpoint RLA36 [Energy Class A+]

Broke within 2.5 years of use, wont get cold anymore. The compressor runs and is hot to touch but wont get cold.

We have owned this appliance for just over 2 years and the compressor started running continuously. We replaced the thermostat but the compressor continues to run and the fridge doesn't get cold. After 8 hours of constant running and the compressor being too hot to touch we have decided to bin it. Shop around, spend a bit more money and get something that will last.

I've had this for three years. While it's not bad, it's not a great choice either. I wish I'd bought a different one.I find the design/layout impractical. There's actually another shelf (not shown in the current main product photo), and that's so useless (there's simply no space, unless you store only miniature food items), that I've thrown it away. Maybe other customers found it as useless as I, and that's why it's not currently shown in photos.Auto-defrost run-off frequently clogs up, leading to brown smelly liquid accumulating at the bottom of the fridge.
