Just as I remember cafe’du monde coffee in N.O., LA
I finally realized why I didn’t NEED my cuppa joe every day! I was born & reared in Ville Platte, Louisiana. I grew up in an safe-haven with one grandmother next door & the other 2blocks away. I lived in a block off main street and 2blocks from my parents’ work place. I was given coffee & milk with sugar every morning before my feet hit the floor & coffee with chicory, milk & sugar at mamere’s (my mother’s mother’s house.) I ordered this (decaf for health reasons) and, woomph!, it brought back my childhood. Ok, so now I’m adding chicory (coffee partner chicory) to any cup that I brew and using CDM decaf in my keurig . I’m lovin’ my cup & drink 2 + cups a day. From an insulin-dependent Type 1 (“brittle”)diabetic of 57+ years, my blood glucose has dropped significantly, which is likely from the fiber in chicory! Yay! This has it all, great added flavor & smoothness &,seemingly, slight thickening to my cup. With a small bit of sweetener & cream, I NEED another cup!! Done and done! Whenever I find CDM DECAF COFFEE WITH CHICORY, I like to have it in my cupboard. Nothing like it! Jan 28,2022 review.

Love the flavor. Rich and full bodied and decaf.

Robust over ice
Cafe Du Monde decaf k-cup is the very best coffee over ice with sweet cream. It's like coffee ice cream for sure. Decaf because for those sensitive to caffeine like me there's no time restriction for this delicious summer 'dessert' and robust enough to support over ice without losing the flavor.
