Armoured Cable SWA Resin Jointing Kit. Underground 4 Core, Cable Size: 12-32mm

Good kit, all parts required are in the box.Take your time, watch the videos on YouTube. Make sure the resin is warm before mixing and pouring and the joint is level, seal the ends well with tape. As per other reviews I found the spring clips a bit loose.

This kit seems well designed, bit fiddly to do but works well, I've used resin before so had no doubts. This kit had everything needed to do the job.

Good instructions. Also good videos in YouTube. Important to note temperature of the resin should be 10 to 30 degrees Centigrade and the cable must be clean and dry!. I waited three hours before place in soil to make sure the liquid was hard.Yes the case is fragile but treated gently it is not an issue.Great repair device and would recommend

Excellent piece of kit

Great value and does a great job. Some reviews complained about the instructions and lack of connectors. Can’t say I agree. Instructions made perfect sense and connectors were included. It’s been underground and a lot of landscaping for a couple of months now with no problem.

The outer casing that holds the resin is very flimsy

The earth straps spring is a real issue if your cable armor outer diameter is close to the minimum, my cable was a 12mm cable, so the springs would not hold tight without packing out the armor quite firmly with some 2.5m2 conductor copper. The connections, there are 4 in the pack, means that 1.5m conductors need to pass through the barrels to get a solid contact. Almost suggest to anyone using this on really small cable to simply insulate and bring 2 strands of armor into the 4th barrel connector. It was dead easy to close up, looks sturdy, and easy to pour the resin.
