Rothco Vintage Belt with Double Prong Buckle

size is off.ok im only writing this review because other peoples reviews made me screw up my order.the belt is fine (i bought 2 of them), its about what you would expect...nothing really to report there.but...a lot of people here are saying the belts run large. THEY DO NOT. if you wear say...a 38 or above order the extra large...not the large like some people have been saying. if you order the large....sure it will fit, but youll be using the very last holes, and no one wants to do that.so, now i have to send these back and order the extra large. and im not even a big guy...5'10 200lbs i wear a 38, and those 38s are loose fitting (im really a 36). i was barely able to get this belt buckled. plainly too small.i was going to order the extra large and the reviews made me change it to large...i shouldnt have, you shouldnt either.

I had a belt that looked similar to this, but it fell apart, so I wanted to replace it. The belt looks good. I ordered the tan color, and it looks exactly like the picture. I liked how the double holes go all the way around the belt, not just at the one end.After reading the reviews about size issues, I went with a small for my 32-inch waist. When buckled, there were only one or two spaces left, so the overhang on the belt barely made it to the first loop on my jeans. I didn't have any issues with the belt being too wide to fit through the belt loops.My main concern was that as soon as I pulled the belt out of the package, one of the metal rivets at the buckle end immediately fell off, before I even tried it on. However, I like the look, and the belt is cheap, so I am going to try my luck with another one and hopefully it actually lasts for a while.

First I have to say that I love how the belt looks, I just ordered it too big. I ordered it according to the provided sizing chart, but failed to read the reviews, or I would have ordered it the next smaller size. I'll definitely exchange it for the correct size. The color is another issue all together. The images on amazons website are not very user friendly when it comes to choosing a color. For example, you click on the brown option and get an image of three belts, each a different color. Click on black, white, olive drab, or khaki, and you get 5 belts, each a different color. I should have taken the time to study the buttons associated with each color before making my choice. My bad. Amazon could have made it a bit easier though. For this reason I gotta give it 4 stars rather then 5.

Great quality belt but be careful about what size you get....I wear a large in shirts and pants and have about a 37 inch waist...I ordered a large belt and it was way too long, but I kept it to use for a different purpose and ordered a second one in medium which is still on its way to me.....I have no doubt that the Medium will fit me, so just be careful...I dont remember them having a sizing chart for belts, so I didnt know which size would really fit me....I made the wrong decision on the large one, but I found a use for it and just kept it.

I like this style of belt a lot, and had been looking at my local stores for one. Then I found this belt on Amazon. The price is great and the style is nice. The only thing I would caution you about is that this belt is 1 11/15" wide. It does not fit on a few pairs of my pants because the belt loops won't accommodate a belt this wide. But I like it for the pants that it does fit. And the size (length) runs longer than expected, so do as other reviewers had recommended and get a size smaller than you normally wear.

I have a similar belt to this style which I wear on a daily basis. It works very well for me and is highly adjustable. I found this 1 and decided to order a black 1. The color is perfect, the quality of construction is very well done and for the price cannot be beat. This 1 is actually thicker and better constructed than the 1 that I have. It most certainly can hold a lot of weight if you use it as a utility style belt. I have been wearing it for 1 week and have had no issues. I ordered a 38, I am 36 waist, and it fits very well.there are 7 sets of gromets to adjust to when you are buckling it so depending on if you are tucking in a shirt or wearing a pair of very baggy pants, or simply need to adjust it larger, you should not have any issues. If you are a 38, order larger.

Great belt. Have been wearing it everyday for work and it has lasted just great! Really good buy for the price!!!UPDATE: 3+ years later this belt is still going strong. I'm a landscaper and have worn this belt daily. I attach my work clip to it and it has held up awesome. Best part is it's breathable when it's hot out. I'm ordering another just in case this one ever kicks it. But I don't see that happening any time soon.

For all the haters out there - read the sizing - I'm a 32 in waist, wear medium in everything pants shorts and sweatpant related, read the sizing, ordered a small - now I got me a great looking ( especially on bdus ), black as can be, great fitting, comfortable, affordable, strong n sturdy belt that I got in 3 days - gonna get another - what's up dudes ? 5 stars n 2 thumbs upAFTER MONTHS OF WEARING THIS BELT IT'S STILL HOLDING UP GREAT, NO FRAYS OR RIPS, BUYING ANOTHER NOW

無骨で堅牢なベルトで使い勝手が良い。Sサイズを購入してサイズの違いに気がつきMサイズを買い直しました。パンツの種類、ウェストの位置によってもベルトのサイズ感は違うので、やはり実物を確認できないとサイズ選択は難しい。

私はウェスト80ｃｍなのでＸＳサイズ(表記約７０～８５ｃｍ）を注文しましたが、実物は６５～８０ｃｍ、一番太めの穴に差し込むと、ベルトの先がバックル先のループをほとんど通らず、全く使い物になりません。即返品しましたが、送料は自己負担。えらい損した気分です。

安価なものであるのに、思っていた以上に良い品が届きました（＾＾）ついていたタグを見てみるとMADE IN TAIWANベトナムもそうですが、やはり日本人と同じようなまじめな気質の国の商品を選びたいものです。ロスコさんはMADE IN TAIWANであることをもっとアピールしてもよろしいのではないでしょうか？

かなり長めなので、腰袋が安定しないのでMサイズが良いのかも。ベルトで使用される場合もウエストが1.5mで無い限りはMサイズで十分でしょう。

丈夫で軽く金具の音もせず良いのですが、幅があと2～3㎜狭ければ、もっと使い勝手がよかったと思います。
