A bit pricey but essential to have genuine parts ?

We have had our Alko Shredder for at least 25 years, the original blades had come to the end of their day. They had been turned and sharpened many times. We thought we had replacement blades which were bought when we acquired the shredder all those years ago. The 'replacement' blades sold to us all those years ago were the wrong ones! Amazon sellers came up with the right goods that were needed to keep the Shredder going. They fit perfectly and we can now shred the garden waste this Autumn. They seem to be of the same quality that the original blades were. If more blades are needed in the future know where to come.

I was delighted to find the blades required for my shredder that is over 20 years old.It was difficult to remove the old blades, it required a star headed type Allen key.I managed to fit the new blades easily and am very happy with the result.Couldn’t think where to purchase this item locally, thank you Amazon.

I bought these blades for my ancient McCulloch MB390 shredder (no longer available). I bought them on impulse since I knew that the blades were not made for it. They fitted perfectly apart from the fact that the accompanying screws were too big, however the old (original!) screws did the job perfectly. My old shredder is now transformed with all types of material - I compost most of my organic material in quite a large garden area. I'm afraid Amazon has lost out since I was contemplating buying a new shredder; there is no way I would part with my transformed McCulloch now!

After shredding some small conifer branches the blades seemed blunted so I turned them over to carry on. I was then able to continue the job. They now require sharpening. if they were made from a harder metal they would have had 5 stars.

Finally found a replacement blade for my ageing H1100S. Even the delivery was 3 days faster than advertised. Well done.
