So far So Good (comparing grow lights)
I bought this plant as one of three to test to see which works the best. I'll write my initial impressions now, then update the review later.I installed this light on the top shelf of a metal Ikea shelf set in front of the back patio window. The light is secured to the underside of the top-most shelf. The light has hooks on it for hanging, and comes with wires and clips to suspend it from a single hook above the plant. I didn't use the wires because the shelf is already fairly low. Instead, I secured the light with velcro ties (the kind used to bundle electronics' cords). That leaves a little space between the underside of the shelf and the top of the light. The light fixture is warm to the touch, unlike the other two lights, but not so hot that the plants get burned. The warmth might even help the plants in the shelf above, as it will give them a warm base. The color isn't as red as the other panel I bought, which I prefer, as I find it difficult to gauge a plant's state of health in red light. This panel is also larger than the other, so sticks out slightly beyond the sides of the shelf. At the moment, I have bonsai and orchids under the light. The light has been in them for 2 weeks. One of the orchids (a lady's slipper) has suddenly put out a number of new leaves. The other plants show no changes in growth habits.I'll come back in 2 or 3 months and update my review.

It really helps plants grow
The sad thing is, these type of lights are expensive, but at least this one is much more acceptable in price for the quality. The Spectrum of lights offered is good compared to most lights. The only thing that would put this one over the top would be a timer. You can plug into a timer if you have one, but it would be nice to have one built in.These are 1 foot square and you could get up to about 2 foot square under most circumstances. If you have plants that are already growing well, you could go a little further I've noticed. A foot high will give the most intensity, but you could go up to two feet above your plants. They recommend 24 inches for seedlings, but lower as they grow taller. One thing I can give as evidence to the effectiveness of the grow light is I have a Thai Basil plant that was nearing the end of it's life and putting off scrawny and thin leaves. It may not last forever as the plant is old, but in short fashion it is putting of much larger and greener leaves than it has in quite some time, even though during the summer it is outside.I'd highly recommend the light and would be over the moon with a timer built in.BTW, I did contact them to ask a question and while you'll get a generic response, they will respond quickly and with the info you will want.

Not bad for most seedlings, but not Tomatos
EDIT: Having used these for almost two months now, I can say that with the exception of my tomato seedlings, my cukes, jalapenos, and melons seedlings have done well. Both my cherry tomato and regular tomato plants though, are not getting enough lumens. These simply are not powerful enough to properly propagate tomato plants.I have this set up in a very small greenhouse setup in my basement. In less than a week, I have sprouts. I currently have this light about 5 inches above my seed trays, and so far, it works as expected. The issue I have is what to do when I need to raise it up. It comes with wires attached to each corner, all leading up to a carabiner that you can clip onto whatever suspension system you have. The issue is that the wires are about 12-16 inches long. If you have this hanging inside a small greenhouse and you're hanging it from the top of the enclosure, it reaches halfway to the bottom of the greenhouse. The only "fix" I can think of is to remove the wires and use string that can be "rolled" up as needed to raise/lower the light. The wires just aren't flexible enough, and the carabiner prevents that sort of thing.

Does what I wanted
Pretty good little light. I'm using it to color up some Drosera for sale and it's doing a pretty decent job. The coverage area isn't that big, maybe 1ftx1ft and the light is no more than 6 inches away. I'm guessing if you're just growing some plants at 12 inches, you could get a wider area and still get decent growth, but I would only really use this for seedlings long term. All in all it's a good light and does the job.

My Dumb Cane Loves It
My other houseplants didn't seem to like it (no growth), but I thought maybe I would try it on my Dumb Cane (Dieffenbachia) after a few weeks I noticed the Dumb Cane's foliage and stems were getting darker plus new growth begun and still going. Then I noticed my ZZ plant that sits nearby the DC begin sprouting new growth 1... 2... 3... new branches. Trust me it's bright and quite tough (knocked over couple of times). WORTH IT!

low power not bright only 22 watts
when I measured only 22 watts from the wall, i realized my other round or square flat panel grow lights that advertise 45watts (really 33) were better/cheaper. I thought that claiming 75 should at least be better than the 45 watt ones. When I wrote the seller, they claimed that amount of light isn't important, it is the spectrum. Their reply may have a typo about (in)efficient, but here it is as written:"Regarding the 75W panel, our engineers upgraded the lamp beads and built-in devices on the basis of the original. For the power issue, we use the inefficient way to maximize the amount of light that is retained, while at the same time achieving the goal of saving you money.Believe me, the quality of the light depends on the appropriate spectrum, not the brightness of the light."

Not 75watts
This LED panel is no brighter than the 45w panels I currently have. Actually seems a touch less bright. The panel does say the 75w part number so it's not a mistake. Keeping the panel as it's not worth the hassle of returning and I have gone overboard on grow lights anyway.
