Got them but used alternative setup for the sun shade over flowers.

I got this to help install my shade cloth, I have two different types of cloth, it works great on the new cloth, but my older one has a much thicker band around the edges, I could not get it to work on the banding, I was able to get it through the cloth itself and was successful with my insulation, has been working fine, my plan next year is to replace my older cloth, and it will work fine. I gave it 5 stars because it works fine on my new cloth.

These shade cloth clips work well and are easy to install. These were used to hold up a shade cloth over the flower beds. The sun is intense in AZ. So far all are in place and holding. The clips are very secure. The thickness of the cloth that can be held by these clips may be limited, a very thick cloth may not allow the clip to snap securely. My experience so far has been good with plastic shade cloth and coolaroo cloth.

The clips don't fit past the hemmed edge of shade sails. Impossible to clip together. Need a larger size.

Was really excited about these but they didn't work out. They down slide on the cables easy and eventually tear the shade cloth. If you needed something more stationary these might work but I still think it will cause damage to your shade cloth over time.
