Saved me a plumbing bill
The filter had got jammed and the machine wouldn't drain. In trying to unscrew the filter with pliers I snapped the plastic off (common mistake apparently). Eventually by widening the pliers out to the edges of the filter I managed to slowly twist it out, to find it jammed up with coins and hairclips. This filter perfectly replaced the old filter (my Bosch machine was listed here) and it now functions as good as new. Very satisfying!
