MSI Optix AG32CQ Curved Gaming Monitor 31.5 Inch, WQHD, VA, 144 Hz, 1 ms, 2560 x 1440, 1440p, 1800R, DisplayPort, DVI-D, HDMI, AMD FreeSync

I bought to replace 27 inch 21/9 dell- i sit approx 1 metre from screenI found the wide screen of the dell a bit restrictive in the height -having to scroll down and up, to view in lots of programs, I use. This monitor is the same length as the dell but an extra 10cm. higher approx. Please read full specs.The monitor arrived next day after ordering- took 10 mins. from opening to connecting to my puter. came with display port cable and an hdmi cable. I used the display port cable. Monitor has Low power consumption.On powering up, the display resolution automatically went to 2560/1440 via windows 7 ultimate. The power on light is a very small blue led and low intensity no glare!!!, the monitor glass is a matt finish. I sit with a large window to my right and get no reflections, a very big plus.Msi i.m.h.o. make excellent g/cards, motherboards, with a v.g. reliability and parts used. I had no hesitation about this brand.I did not have to change The screen colour settings (gamut 93%) at all. NO colour bleed, black is black. contrast, brightness, gamma. all seemed to be ok. I changed icons to medium and that's about it. I can read the guardian,bbc news, emails etc very easily and see more of the print.My graphics card is an msi 970 gtx (nvidia). The spec for monitor gives 1m/sec refresh rate (compare that to high end monitors and not many can match this)The 2560 x1440 resolutionis not the highest spec but is more than good enough, unless you are a speed freek, but with all the 'extra' mods turned on, on games, it does not phase this monitor with this g/card clear. bright, fast response and no lag etc.This is a gaming monitor +, I d/loaded the nvidia geoforce experience app- which found my games. Msi also have apps that will fine tune .Gaming-- world of warcraft-(with virginmedia b/band150m/s) 2560 x 1440.the res reads-100fps 30ms whilst playing intensivly -I set foreground to max fps. background to 75fps and set the other setting/ mods to default -most of which were ticked. In a 25 man raid, the response of the monitor was superb -no lag. no sheering. blurring, just pure action and because of size of monitor, was able to see every player and enemy without having to change my view point. I even soloed ragnorak. and could see all of him without have to scroll out and lose the feeling of being too far away from him. The curved screen does give a little more immersive game play.I had the same results for other online games, Utube etc. Offline game gave the same results -high speed superb renditions no pixelations!!! and very fast response times.Monitor not being used for games-2560 x 1440- photoshop -excellent colour gamut. Films- borders top and bottom but still excellent reproduction-black is black no colour bleed or pixelations. Reading-text is sharp and clearconclusion - have used this monitor extensively every day since purchase- i have no hesitation in recommending this monitor. I find the size perfect for my needs, the curved screen does give a better view of whats on the screen and the angle( 18degrees) does give less eye strain( i don't need to move my head to look at edges) I sit bang in the middle of the screen but viewing angle does allow some movement. The specifications of this monitor are not over estimated what you see on the tin, you get.improvements - only 1 -wish the monitor could be moved up and down however stand fittings are vesa compliant so many other attachments available.I have no affiliations with Msi or Nvidea. This monitor was purchased by myself for myself, all the above is my own perspective of this monitor. I did not buy from ebuyer as they do not offer extended warranty.If this is the type of monitor you want then you will not be disappointed.

Good monitor 👍 🤠 works for now, just got it today. Good for offline and fast paced online. Was worried 1440 on 32" will be blurry or something, but actually was super and coming from 1080p 27" felt like an upgrade. Gaming on 3070rtx and no problems in any games.

It’s a great and large monitor, 144hz makes it so so smooth and the curve is not too curved. I like that with the settings you don’t need f.lux now, you can make your settings warm. My only grip is that you cannot adjust the height of your monitor, it’s restricted at a certain height and the base is very large to compensate the curve of the monitor, otherwise it’ll topple over. The monitor was easy to install and it came with all the cables.

Bought for gaming and it is fantastic. Have viewed 4k videos on YouTube and the picture is amazing so both live image and gaming images are perfect. No speakers but I knew that before purchase so no bother to me but might trip up others.Item was easy to fix together though the instruction manuel on how to make the stand was useless. Googled a video to be sure i did it correctly and in moments it was up and running.Other than the booklet, which is secondary, I have no fault with this monitor at all.

This monitor looks so beautiful. Its clean has a very small bezel which you could barely see if you did 2 monitors. Remember to get a proper cable so you get that great quality and 1ms as if you get a normal cable as it probably wont allow that 1ms response. Has a great progam included which includes a crosshair!

To sum this monitor up, imagine going into PC World or Curry's to view all the monitors / TV's. You look around and see some vibrant, beautiful, colourful ones, and then you see some dull looking mother flipper and you think to yourselves, who the hell's gonna buy that? Well congratulations, you've just bought the dull, blurry looking one in the hope your 2 or 3 millisecond reaction speed advantage will turn you into the gaming God you were destined to become. I genuinely think looking at this monitor is how a heroin addict sees life on a come-down.Btw, I don't truly believe this warrants 1 star considering it's a budget monitor and it's not expected to look fabulous, but it needs to be brought down from 4.5 stars as that's ridiculous. Has Stevie Wonder created hundreds of accounts, ordered loads of these bad boys, then left multiple reviews?
