Nice unit but the composite video i/p is NTSC so not compatible with the UK PAL standard.Not a problem at HDMI or Component i/p.More detailed specifications in the description and user manual would have helped.

This thing is super easy to use and it works fantastically. It's pretty much plug and play. I bought this to use with PS2, N64, and PS3 and it works for all of them. I do have to get better cables for my ps2 though because there is a minor pulse/flicker in the recording that is somewhat distracting. I know this is an issue with my cables and not the device itself, because I was told this by a few people on a fourm when I posted the video and question of why it was happening. When I get new cables, should be here by next week, I will let everyone know if it looks better or not.Otherwise, this is a sound capture device. And I like that you record onto a USB storage device, so you dont have to have a computer nearby. For editing my videos, I plug the USB into my ps4 after I've finished recording and use sharefactory to piece everything together. Then I save the edited and final video to the USB, upload it to my computer, and from there I can put it on Facebook or YouTube, etc.

Just like any other product that you normally buy on Amazon. There's always going to be a few flaws to it. I originally bought this product just to record family home movies from VHS to HD video files. Surprisingly enough this product actually works. It's also easy to use. But the few problems to it. When you hook up your RCA wires from your VHS camcorder or VHS player to this Video capture device, You can record your footages on that device through USB flash drive. However if your VHS footage is quiet or doesn't have much sound to it, Then this video capture device will not pick up the signal from your VHS tape. Which sucks. So basically you have to have sound in your footage in order for this device to pick up the signal. At first I thought it would record the VHS footages at 1080p. But unfortunately it records at 720 × 480p. Not bad but that's still small for a video file. So it does keep it at the original Aspect ratio. Which is cool.Now I have test this Video capture device on other devices and it does a good job recording footages at 1080p. So you can do uses for recording gameplay footage or you can hook it up to your TV and actually record episodes or shows from television. After all this is not a bad product but it still needs some improvements.

Buona idea pessimo prodotto ad un prezzo stellare. Se dovete passare cassette vhs regístrate solo una volta o videocassette originali di film potrebbe anche funzionare, però sempre dovrete visionare il filmato in quanto possibilmente l'audio se ne va.Per quanto riguarda video amatoriali registrati su cassette già registrate in precedenza, è praticamente impossibile lavorarci.Il file risultante viene letto dal programma del computer ( qualunque esso sia ) come un video della durata di 7 ore ed inoltre si inceppa, le immagini diventano nere etc.Un oggetto carissimo e che alla fine è quasi inutile. L' ho restituito.

Started out I could see why this item had good reviews. It was easy to use and you didn't need a computer to capture footage. I did a total of 6 videogame reviews using the footage I had captured, no problem. A few weeks later (and about 5 months after buying it) I went to start capping and it kept resetting itself after about 5 minutes, ruining whatever file I was recording. I tried cutting the resolution down to 720p and it seemed to be working, then I went to stop recording and it was frozen in record mode, ruining the file again. Finally I updated it with the new firmware. Since this is about the only help or solution you will get from the Chinese manufacturer, I hoped it work. Nope, still keeps resetting itself while I'm recording. Even though, I've barely used it I can't get a refund because I've had it too long. 90 dollars flushed down the toilet. Do yourself a favor and get a better device and think twice before you believe all these 5 star reviews about how wonderful it is.
