Sears Craftsman 41DB102-2 Receiver Logic Board

When I searched online for this board, every other company wanted twice the cost because they included the plastic assembly that the board mounts into. I received the board a few days before I expected and, oddly enough, it came with the plastic assembly. Even though the assembly didn't fit my older unit, here's why I give them 5 stars:1. In the package was a note stating that if my opener is an older model (which it is), I may need to remove the board and install it into the old assembly. That was a nice heads-up.2. They included a mini-manual (portions of the original manual) that covers the unit's wiring & programming of remotes. I have the manual, but this was a convenience. I didn't have to search the manual for that info.I just think this company did a very nice job of giving me, the end user, all of the information necessary to make their product work.FYI: My original problem was that the door wouldn't work at all while plugged into house power. If I unplugged it, it worked fine off of the battery. My diagnostic LED was flashing 5 times, i.e. RPM sensor or logic board. p. 35 in the manual.

Exactly as described. Packaged well. The plastic housing wasn't compatible with our opener, however the board was identical. It was easy to swap the housings. The included instructions were appreciated and very helpful for installation and programming the openers and keypad. Price was better than going direct through Sears.

not as expected had to modify to make it work

After being told by the Sears sales person that the problems whcih I described would be resolved with the new logic board were not true. After calling the Customer Service Line at Sears, WASTE OF TIME, I ended up buying a whole new opener. The logic board was returned for a patial payment. Some crap about not being in the orignal packing.........which it was. Not happy.
