Ultrafast Thunderbolt 4 SDD
After running out of disc space on my iMac whilst using FCP, this drive saved me! It supports Thunderbolt 4/USB-C 4 at maximum speed. My iMac has regained its performance, and the SSD drive is quiet, 100% compatible, and reliable! I highly recommend the SanDisk.

Fast! 4TB with Apple Silicon Mac twice the speed of previous generation. Ouchy expensive, though.
Fast! This Gen.3 version is about twice as fast as the previous Gen.2 yet (in my case) stores twice as much, like the USB4 (well implemented -works with all my Apple Silicon Macs). Expensive, did I mention fast though? Does get warm in use - unsure how long it will last but has a limited 5 year Warranty.

Great item, prices have gone crazy though.
It's amazing, super rapid. I've had two. Unfortunately prices have gone bonkers as I paid just under £300 before and now it's more than £500. Thanks AI.

Good value
Instantly fixed my Mac storage issues. I use it to store my Codex data, and in everyday use it feels as fast as the internal storage. It’s pricey, but still much cheaper than upgrading to a MacBook with more built-in storage. Overall good value for money.

Fast and easy to setup and use!
Bought this for my MacBook Pro 1TB. Tried to get the 2TB version but so much more expensive. This gave me an instant 4GB upgrade for considerably less. It is fast and reliable. A great investment.

Not as advertised (Amazon's fault, not SanDisk)
Not as advertised. Yes, this drive is blazing fast, in fact I cannot but say good things about its build quality. BUT, Amazon's description states it has Hardware Encryption. It does not. I bought one in error, and only after SanDisk confirmed that it is not capable of Hardware Encryption, I made a further error and tried to return it to Amazon. Amazon were quick to take payment from me, but refunding the item? 14 days. Apparently, they can't be quicker than that. So be careful what you buy in future, because Amazon will hang on to your money and get as much interest out of it as they can before returning it to you.

Very rapid transfer rates
A bit bigger than earlier models but probably correlated to components that makes it's transfer velocities so extremely rapid. If time is important it is worth the price.
