My dog is really picky about food, and has a lot of tartar problems. I try to get him to chew on rawhide (only when I'm around), but he doesn't like it. I've tried other types of healthy chews, but he won't eat them. He has really liked the paragon products. He likes the alligators, but the hedgehogs have too many hard pieces, so he's not as wild about them.These "ears" have been a blessing. He LOVES them so much he begs me to give him one. He chews them well and they help keep his teeth clean and healthy.My sister's dog loves the hedgehogs, and friends dogs love them and the alligators as well. They come in different colors (maybe these are also different flavors?) My dog likes the light brown and the green, but NOT the orange.Highly recommend these treats.So why only four stars instead of five? When the dogs get too many, it gives them diarrhea. I only give my dog one of these every other day, and it does the trick for his teeth and keeps him regular. If he gets one every day it's not as good a result :-)So, be sure to buy the right size for your dog (my dog is 50 lbs).

I have three dogs, one medium (13) and two large (60+) and they all love these. One of my big dogs has a touchy stomach and these cause no upset at all. Does not affect the stools either. Good treat!

Both of our Maltese love to choose on these treats. They were recommended to us by a breeder of show dogs because of their nutritional value.
