Keter Unity XL Portable Outdoor Table with Stainless Steel Top for Kitchen Prep and Outdoor Storage Cabinet for Grilling Accessories, Dark Grey

We recently bought a Halo Versa 16 pizza oven and needed another table/cart to keep it on. We decided on a cabinet to protect the propane canister from the weather and also for the additional storage space. We decided on this resin cabinet because of the cabinet space, the stainless steel top and the wheels for mobility, and hoped that it did not look cheap. It took my husband about 4 hours to put it together since the instructions are not very specific and some of the parts were difficult to identify. Now that it is assembled, we love it and are very happy that we bought this outdoor cabinet. I can't think of anything we don't like about this cabinet, but what we do like is: 1) The length of this cabinet is plenty long to hold our new Halo Versa pizza oven with counter space to spare as a work area. 2) The 20" depth is enough to hold the base of the pizza oven. 3) The cabinet doesn't include shelves, but we plan to install one shelf in the middle for storage. 4) Since this cabinet is made of resin, it will be impervious to the weather in northern Illinois. Yet it looks like wood and does not look cheaply made. 5) The stainless-steel top is a very good quality, and more than a thin sheet of stainless. 6) The shelf above the cabinet will be very useful for putting the pizza peels for use when they are needed. 7) Although it has a rod to keep a roll of paper towels, I don't think keeping paper towels outdoors is a good idea. 8) Hooks are supplied to hang utensils, but I see this more as a place to keep tools that will be used for a cook than a storage place. 9) The wheels make this cabinet very easy to move. At this point, we are very happy with this cabinet. If my opinion changes, I will update this review. I hope this review was helpful for you.

Im blown away how everything just snapped together. Im almost 50 with 5 kids and 4 grandchildren. Trust me I've put together countless items over the year's and this was by far the easiest project ever. It was so easy it was actually enjoyable. It looks great, was packaged very well and arrived with no damage. It is extremely sturdy and will be a great addition to my outdoor kitchen.

Great look & sturdy. Plenty of room for storage & space. Rack for spices or bottles, paper towel holder, & the S-hooks for utensils. Assembly took almost an hr. Instructions are ok but watching a youtube video helped us visualize it better. There's a set of 4 parts that should be drilled with holes that weren't. For most handymen this won't be an issue but be aware you need a drill for the holes. Mine also arrived with the stainless steel top slightly bent. It looked like it had been dropped but the top was inside the box, sealed up in another box ,which didn't have a ding on the outside. Must have been pkg'd that way from from the factory. It was small & not a big deal so we turned the top to have the ding be on the backside of the cart. Also, the 2 wheels really don't roll so hot. Took off 1 star for wheels, dent, & not having holes drilled. That being said I still think it's a good deal for the durability, size/storage, & look.

The whole thing appears to be made of injection-molded polypropylene, with extremely poor build quality. There are little sharp bits of plastic sticking off along every seam. Some of these sharp bits of plastic interfere with the actual assembly of the unit. The unit is designed to snap together. You plug the pieces in where they're supposed to go, and plastic tabs snap in to lock the parts in place. Super easy, until you get to a part that doesn't quite fit because of random bits of plastic attached all over the inner mechanisms. My particular unit does not correctly fit together. I only found this out after assembling a large portion, that one particular joint just will not snap into place. The other end of the piece that won't snap into place, IS snapped into place. So I've got a defective piece that is permanently installed, but only at one end. Customer service advised me to warm it with a hairdryer to just yank it apart. I said, "won't that destroy the joint?" and they didn't even answer the question, and just gave me the same instructions again. I said, "will I be able to reassemble it after I do that?", and they said "of course". Well I did it, warmed the joint with a hair dryer to soften the plastic and pulled it apart - surprise, surprise, it DID destroy the joint! So I've extracted the defective part. The defective part is itself, definitely destroyed. The part that it plugged into may also be destroyed, but there's really no way to know until I get a replacement. If the other part IS destroyed I'll have to extract it as well... but it's connected to 4 other parts, in the same snap-together disassemble-proof way. That'll destroy 4 more pieces, and so on and so forth until every part that I've already assembled is broken and needs replacing. What a terrible design. Customer service will only replace half of the unit so... where does that leave me? I have a unit that can't be assembled according to the directions, and removing damaged or defective parts appears to destroy other parts. It looks likely that the only option will be to pull the whole thing apart and send it back to Amazon. (Addendum: they are telling me it will take 10-12 weeks to replace the defective part. Definitely going back, I'm not holding onto a bulky, several hundred dollar defective item 3x longer than the return window on the off chance that their replacement part works.)

This cart is AMAZING! I put together in about a hour. Two wholes were not drilled so that took a sec to figure out. Directions pretty straight forward. This thing is a tank! We were so sick of the grills rotting out at the bottom and looking like crap so we went with this with a table top grill coming tomorrow as well as a table side burner! I thing this is going to be an amazing set up.

This is a well thought out design. There’s a couple of bolt holes that didn’t go all the way through but it was a minor setback. Assembly took about two hours. It’s more solid than I expected, and the stainless steel seems to be holding up well against the rain and salt. Not a trace of rust (so far). Very symmetrical; found I could put the doors on the opposite side to fit my layout.

Kind of amazed. Did not expect this to be as well packed as it came.. Didn't care much for the pictures only instructions. BUT they were not hard to follow. It took me about 2 hours, but I took my time, I assembled the components without clicking together , assuming if it was incorrect easier that way than trying to unattach. The components did match up correctly, the screw holes lined up, the bolts and nuts took a little wiggle to get lined up.. I wish the wheels were better quality. ( but they seem to work well). I saw on other reviews to check the stainless steel top for dents and scratches, mine was flawless. Things I would change a shelf in the storage area, and better wheels. for the price I expect this to serve well. Picture to authinate I am an actual buyer.

I couldn’t be happier with the Keter Utility Outdoor Portable Table & Storage unit. It was incredibly easy to assemble – I built it on my own in around 35 minutes, with clear instructions and no headaches. The quality is excellent. The stainless steel worktop is solid, gives you loads of food prep space, and is perfect alongside my Ninja Woodfire BBQ. The storage underneath easily holds all my BBQ accessories, wood pellets, covers and cleaning products, keeping everything neat and out of sight. It looks far more expensive than it is, is sturdy once assembled, and the wheels make it easy to move if needed. It has completely transformed my outdoor cooking area. If you’re looking for a practical, stylish outdoor prep station with plenty of storage, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this Keter unit. Five stars from me! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Très bien fait, extrêmement facile à assembler, ça a pris moins de 15 min. Les pièces sont de bonnes qualités et résistante. Je recommande vivement.

Zwar habe ich ein paar Tage nach meiner Bestellung bei Amazon festgestellt, dass das gleiche Teil bei Aldi für 80 € weniger angeboten wurde, aber sei es drum - ich bin super zufrieden damit! Der Tisch war wirklich sehr gut verpackt und alles kam unbeschädigt bei uns an. Alle, die negative Kritiken wegen Beschädigungen geschrieben haben, sollten auch mal bedenken, dass das (wie hier) oft nicht am Hersteller liegt, sondern meist an Transport und Auslieferung... Der Aufbau hat (inkl. Auspacken und Vorsortierung der Einzelteile) knapp eine Stunde gedauert - ok, nicht gerade wenig - aber ein strukturiertes Vorgehen nach Anleitung hat sich gelohnt. Vielen Dank an dieser Stelle an Frank D., der im Juli '21 in seiner Rezension einen ganz tollen Hinweis für den Einbau eines genau passenden Einlegebodens gegeben hat - passt 1A und sorgt für die doppelte Ablagefläche! (...das sollte Keter echt übernehmen!) Ich habe in diesem Zusammenhang auch noch ein paar Tipps für potentielle Käufer: 1) Es gibt online zB. tolle Plastik-Schubkästen zu kaufen (Maße (H/B/T): 35x18x47 cm), die man unter die Arbeitsplatte stellen kann (oben ggf. etwas fixieren), um zB. Besteck, Grillzangen, Gewürze etc. dort aufzubewahren 2) Es gibt auch bei Amazon die genau passende wasserdichte Abdeckung (sucht nach: Hohong Keter) für das Teil - super! 3) da die Oberfläche aus Edelstahl ist und bei ständiger Beanspruchung schnell zerkratzt werden könnte, habe ich mir noch eine größere Silikonmatte gekauft, die bei den Arbeiten darauf schützt Der Tisch ist nach korrektem Aufbau sehr stabil, funkional und ich erfreue mich daran bei jeder Benutzung (als Ablage, zur Vorbereitung für's Grillen, als Anrichte, zur Nachbereitung...) Ich sehe das Teil (nach Zukauf einiger nützlicher Gadgets) als meine kleine Outdoor-Küche. Deswegen gibt's von mir eine klare Kauf-Empfehlung - viel Spaß damit!
