Exactly what we wanted. One of these fires was in a lodge in Cornwall we stayed in recently. We were so impressed we bought it for home. We love how it looks, it's easy to use and heats up the room beautifully. Really looks cosy with just the lights on and no heat, when no heat required.

I was a little worried ordering a fire that I hadn't seen, but I am really pleased. It looks a lot better in reality than the picture does to be honest. It's a heavy item and qood quality. Surprised at how good it looks for the money. Would highly recommend this fire. I brought it for an alcove and more for looks than to use it much. I have the "fire effect" on and it looks great. The heat I have had on a few times. You can set it to Eco - which blows out warm .... which the cats enjoy. Or if you want to switch it high then it really does knock out some heat. Not as much noise as a normal fan heater and it's quieter and gives more heat than another electric fire I have that was twice the price.

I really like this electric fire & the fact that you can operate it either with the doors open or closed & just have the flame effect on if you wish.You have a choice of either the log or coal effect. I prefer the log. I bought it for the one end of my kitchen but may move it into my living room at a late date when the gas fire I have in there needs replacing.The only downside is the fact that I think it's rather over priced for an electric fire, even a nice looking one !I was really pleased with the delivery as it arrived on the day I specified, excellent.

We were hesitant about making such a large purchase without physically seeing the product, however we decided to take the leap after seeing the price. We purchased a similar one some years ago from a large home store and had a terrible experience with it. This fire far surpassed our old one in quality and was considerably cheaper. I would highly recommend.

Shoddy, not well made. Lacking in solidity. Obviously left the factory without being checked. The doors didn't align properly and when we started it up it sounded like a Jumbo Jet taking off. We sent it back. Really disappointed.

The first stove was faulty. The packaging was unopened, but the doors were damaged so the vendor was not at fault. The vendor responded quickly to my complaint and contacted Dimplex. They then contacted me direct and arranged for the faulty stove to be collected and replaced. The second stove is perfect and looks good in my small sitting room. The flame effect is convincing and will add cheer on cold dreary days. The fan heater is very effective and would warm a cold room quickly. So although I was initially disappointed and inconvenienced, particularly as it is not a cheap product, I hope I was just unlucky.

This is a delightful addition to our home - very attractive and warms the room well- I would have NO hesitation in recommending it ... gorgeous. Came on time, well wrapped and in good condition. Would recommend seller. Worth the money. Want to buy more as presents e.g. may buy for daughters wedding this summer.
