Great fun workouts
I remember Mr.Motivator from years ago, he is an icon! I wasn't sure if the exercise routines would be all that effective but I was wrong, they really work. My only issue is that I would like longer workouts so what I tend to do is the same section 2 or 3 times. I prefer to do that than do several different sections, If I do the leg workout 3 times my legs feel like they have been worked which is the feeling I want. He really knows his stuff and this DVD will be a go to DVD if I feel a bit down and not in the mood to exercise, he will soon knock you into shape mentally and physically.

Very Easy to follow fitness DVD
I love this Mr Motivator DVD. i am 69 years old and this year am determined to get in shape but have found it very difficult to find a fitness DVD that I could follow safely. However I am really pleased that I can follow nearly all of the exercises in each section comfortably and although I am working hard Mr Motivator is such fun and the scenery of Jamaica is so lovely I am really enjoying my sessions. Very happy to give a five star rating.

Fun Fun Fun
Used to use his video in the 90s and it worked then combined with Yoga ..it is a little different but think it is working along with Yoga l combine both ...Mr Motivator cheers me up no end and my daughter is getting into this as well ....all sessions are quite short about 8 mins l would have perfered at least 10 mins sections ...Reccommend this DVD for bringing osome sunshine into you living room and loose or tone up a little ...it has a create your own workout on this DVD which is good but would have prefered a menu to go to as in the morning l just want to get on with it as excercise is sort of a chore for me l do it and enjoy it but have to force myself some days to do it ...l find doing this 2 times a weeks nad 3 sessions of yoga work for me or 3 days this and two days yoga depending on your preference .l prefer Yoga but aerobics and toning works quicker than yoga on its own ...l imagine this would work on its own very well just my preference that l like to do yoga ...the mad professor clips are fun but would have liked a say 20 minute session and 10 min toning sections ...but this dvd l like to use and brings a smile to my face so that is a plus ....and gets 5 stars for that would have been 4 otherwise ...l combine the bikini workout with soca dance and legs and tums ..thats about half hour ...their a a few different workouts to try all good but should have been a little longer l think so if you are short of time this is ideal but also good as their is well over an hours workouts and toning

Mr. Motivator
I own around 8 work-out DVD's and do one everyday, I mix them up so I don't get bored of any and Mr Motivator is one of my faves. You get 11 sections and when I first started doing them I stopped on section 4-5 as it was too much. But after a few months i can now finish the 1 hour 20mins DVD in 1 sitting so I'm very pleased. The hardest section for me is the boot-camp part (or Pyramid as they call it) & the one I enjoyed the most is the last section, The Party. This is a full list of the 11 sections.....Soca CalypsoUpper Body ConditioningBikini Workout / Warm-upPyramid WorkoutSoco CalypsoBumsLegsTumsPyramid Mr. M's Daily DozenStretchThe Party

Motivating and fun, but not enough on tums
After watching Mr Motivator's fitness series on Channel Health called 'The Fitness Zone' I became a real fan. The majority of the 11 approx. 7-minute long sections on this DVD remind me a bit of the 'Fitness Zone'. The fact that you can mix-and-match the sections to create your own workout is really a plus. There are some nice warm-up sections in a dance aerobics style, and I also enjoy the sections on 'bums' and 'legs', which feature a good selection of muscle toning exercises for the legs and bum. There is also a good 'upper body conditioning' section on this DVD, which can be done with or without weights. However, I was quite disappointed with the 'tums' section. This section only shows 2 or 3 tums exercises, but then it features exercises to strengthen the upper arms and the inner thighs instead....The 'stretch' section was also a bit disappointing for me. It is very short and I would have liked this to be a longer section, as stretching before and after exercise is so important. The camera work is sometimes a bit strange, e.g. when Mr Motivator explains an exercise for the legs (you have to put your foot like so and so and you knee like this...) and the camera just shows the heads and shoulders of Mr M and his exercise group! It helped me to watch the whole DVD before attempting to do the exercises.Generally speaking though this DVD is fun and it makes fitting exercise into a busy day easier, since you can choose if you want to do just 10 minutes, 20 minutes, one hour etc. I do hope that Mr Motivator's exercise videos will be released on DVD as well in the near future. One of them is bound to have a proper section on 'tums' (I hope)!

Mr Motivator Updated
Remember this from early1990's. Works well but no gain without pain and perhaps one for those in later years may be more suitable - but its not on the web?
