StellarStainless Steel 3 Tier Steamer Set with 18cm Base Pan, 2 Steamers and Lid, Induction Ready, Gift Boxed

We used to have a steamer which was slightly smaller than this and whilst it was good it was just a wee bit too small and, whilst using it on our induction hob, the bottom layer started glowing red hot which was not good. This Stellar steamer is more expensive but is much much better quality. In addition, the lid on the old steamer had a knob that managed to get water inside requiring dismantling after each use. This Stellar product is a cracker. Just slightly larger but still reasonably compact, heavy lid that does what it's supposed to. Nicely finished too. Very pleased with it. No problems on induction hob so far either.

Best steamer I have ever purchased. This steamer though expensive I believe it was worth it.I would definitely recommend this steamer.

Good steamer. This size pan is a good size to cook for 2 or 3 people. All the tiers fit together nicely. I originally wanted a steamer with black handles and lid to make it easier to lift the different sections & the top lid, but having read lots of reviews they all seemed to have problems so I decided to stick with the stainless steel handles. I'm glad I did as these are a good size and easy to lift with oven gloves (or without gloves if not too hot), including the top lid. I also like the fact that the steamer sections and base are more or less of even height. My previous steamer was less than half the price of this one - however this seems much more substantial and better quality stainless steel and I guess you get what you pay for & hopefully it will last longer than the previous one. Would recommend.

My wife likes this a lot. It has a substantial base and generally feels more solid than her previous steamer. Only had it a short while so can't comment on longevity, hopefully the riveted handles will last - they look as if they should.

I don't give five star reviews very often but it's hard to fault. The steamer has a solid base, is very sturdy and has riveted handles. There's no steam leakage between tiers and it works perfectly on my induction hob. I do quite like Stellar cookware generally as it strikes the balance between quality without being ridiculously overpriced. Yes it's a bit dearer than the alternatives but I expect it to last a lifetime.The 18cm version holds enough vegetables for two people so if you're cooking for a family you may want to go for the 20cm or 24cm versions.

Got this to replace a similar size pan which was now "past it's best" - a great size size for steaming for a small number of people - well made and having steel handles will not "crumble" like some of the plastic handled pans I have had in the past. Very happy - delivered on time - all good 😊😊
