Aesop's Fables Hard Placemats Set of 4

These are the most gorgeous and durable place mats I ever purchased. The colors are vibrant, they are nice and thick and stay in place on the table. They are high quality. We got a new wood dining room table, beautiful oak wood, and didn't want to cover it up with a table cloth. These mats enhance the wood color. They are expensive, but definitely worth the price as they will last a long time. The designs are very cheery!

These mats are beautiful and sturdy. I have some concerns after a few weeks of use, I'm noticing small little cracks in the art side surface. We don't use for anything other than dishes at the table. Hopefully liquid does not infiltrate the cracks and cause wood to swell.

I like this type of placemat. There are four different designs showing off Aesop's Fables, and they are very colorful. The placemats are very sturdy and easy to wipe clean with a disinfectant wipe after each use.

Cute but kind of cardboardy

I think these hard placemats are beautiful. I ordered 8 of them and opened the boxes for a dinner party about 2 months after I received them to find I had a few that had pin holes. I wrote to the seller and they never responded. I am disappointed that I could not get those with the pin holes replaced. I worrythat moisture will creep in and ruin them.

Fifteen bucks per placemat may seem a lot to some people -- but I think these are worth the price.The mats go with many tablecloths (or eating surfaces); they are very sturdy and very easy to clean. The art has resonated with guests from children through seniors -- super-fun!

I absolutely love these placemats. Excellent quality, and they came beautifully packaged in a box appropriate for gift giving. Like a previous reviewer, even my husband noticed and really likes these! When I had to contact the company for a very minor issue, they responded right away even though it was a weekend and resolved the issue immediately. These will be my go-to gift this year!

I put the placemats out as soon as they were delivered..so bright and clever! Love how they look on the kitchen table! However, as noted by other reviewers, I found a few pin dot size holes in two placemats and some cracking in another...if nothing else is noticed, then I can live with these minor flaws..just hoping they hold up well.
