Love it
I really like the small size. It is much more manageable that the older larger ones. It does cut off after an hour, but all you need to do to turn it back on is to press the button once for low temp and twice for high.Even on high it does not get too hot to put on an injured shoulder or knee. Low may be best setting if you put it between your body and the bed, such as on your back while in bed.My only negative is that maybe it could use a longer electrical cord. Just being picky really. I really like mine and would recommend it to others.

Stiff
This was supposed to be used for upper neck and part of face for jaw problems because this is the smallest one I could find and it's really stiff...not soft and bendable at all.

Cara Mini Electric Heating Pad 9 by 9 Inch - 2 heat Levels
This is 9 by 9 inches, one of the few that are both electric and small. It only has two heat settings and for my use the Low was too low so I am using High which is quite warm but the heat is not as high as larger models. The two-prong power cord is 6 feet in length with the controller located 2 feet from the heating pad. Included is a felt pad that is inside the removable, washable cover.Instructions are printed on the box, there is no separate user guide so it may be wise to keep the carton. The pad can be dampened and re-inserted in the cover to provide moist heat but it was only marginally effective. It has a 1 hour automatic shut-off. It arrived with a light blue cover instead of the dark version. Good economical small-size basic heating pad.

Barely got warm.
We are returning for a refund. Box states it heats up on 30 seconds. We put it on the HIGH setting and 10 MINUTES. It barely got warm. 20 minutes, no change. This is worthless as a heating pad.

Does what I expect, works as expected.
Before I purchased this product, I noted that some reviews didn't like the quality, or had problems. But others thought it was OK. Since the price is low enough and there aren't many alternatives at this small size pad, I bought one.The product works as expected, is constructed as expected, and has no quality issues that I can identify. It is, as advertised, a smaller version of an electric heating pad. Probably best for small areas such as joints (rather than large muscles).Actually, I use it for oil painting! I paint on small boards, and apply gentle heat to speed the drying process (my room is otherwise cool). So, I've been using this product many times since I purchased it, and packed and unpacked it many times. No problems. Seems to me that if I used this on rare occasions, as it typical with heating pad, then it would last indefinitely.

fantastic for travel
I wanted a small heating pad to take when I travel. I suffer from migraine headaches and the low heat helps me. Putting this under a towel is more comfortable than trying to use a microwavable hot pack ... plus this maintains its temperature and doesn't get cooler with time. This is the perfect size.

Works for My Dog
My 50 lb labradoodle has a pulled achilles and I wanted to give him heat on his leg but the regular heating pad I have was way too big. I set this for high for a few moments (it does NOT heat up to full heat in 30 seconds, maybe first sign of heat in 30 seconds), then I wrap the heating pad around his leg and then wrap that with a hot cold pack (at room temperature) that has velcro on it so that it acts as a weighted enclosure for the heating pad. I move the control from High to low (there are only 2 settings) and leave her for 20 minutes. This seems to be a perfect temperature. High is too hot. I have not used the moist heat. But I do rub some CBD cream (CBD oil mixed with coconut oil) and essential oils on her before placing the heating pad on her. I don't know if it makes a difference or not (too many variables at work to pinpoint one, but we are making slow progress. She doesn't mind the heating pad and stays still till I remove it (unless someone comes to the door!) She wears a brace in the house so that her leg is straightened out a lot so take pressure off the Achilles tendon.

Great "mini" heating pad
I bought this from Amazon 2 months ago, late May 2019, and have generally loved it. I came down with a temporary facial issue where application of heat is helpful. The heating pad has two heat settings, Low and High, and is of a convenient size for applying to smaller areas of the body, and will automatically turn itself off one hour after you turn it on. Understand that electrical things that generate heat (oven, home heating, heating pads, etc.) have their temperature fluctuate in a given range which is natural. The only reason I rated this 4 stars instead of 5 is because the heat oscillates a little too much (heating range is a little too broad) for my liking, example upon turning it on to Low it can get almost as hot as High before it cools a little, and sometimes when the High setting is used it cools down seemingly too much. So the ranges seem to overlap a bit, admittedly this may be normal. I plug it in while at my home PC desk, fold it over, and after maybe 5 minutes warming up I apply it to one side of my face and it feels so good! I really do like this "mini" heating pad!
