I am a big fan of BoxieCat products. Recently, I introduced a new family member, a Maine Coon Cat named Kineo, who came to me from a breeder in Ukraine. Although he seemed a bit timid, I understood he might have different litter preferences. In my household, we use a Litter Robot to ensure a clean space for his needs. My favorite BoxieCat product is BoxieCat Pro because the probiotics effectively manage odors. However, Kineo initially resisted and chose a traditional litterbox, far too small for him. This led to some challenges, including his reluctance for a necessary cleanup. In my quest to help him adjust, I introduced him to the “Glo” product, designed to inspire an “A-HA” moment. The glowing aspect caught his attention, and finally, Kineo embraced his chambermaid service. I look forward to transitioning back to BoxieCat Pro, as it truly works wonders.

I bought this litter knowing I wouldn’t be able to see the UV glow, but also lowkey hoping it would glow like a tiny feline rave every time my cats used the box. Spoiler alert: humans can’t see the UV light magic… but that didn’t stop me from squinting dramatically every time someone went to do their business, hoping for a disco ball moment. Clumping? Great Dust? Barely there. Tracking? Minimal. Scent? Neutral and not offensively perfumed. I wouldn’t say I "raved" about this litter, but I would absolutely buy it again. My cats seem pleased, and I like imagining them throwing glowstick parties while I sleep.

My go to litter now for my picky kitty queen. My cat is very particular about her litter box. I used to use another cat attract litter till I found this. Pro: Definitely attracts my cat to her litter box. Soft on her paws. Con: it’s heavy.

I originally used this as a last ditch effort to try to entice my last holdout from using the fancy litter robot so I could retire the old style cat box. No such luck. Otherwise this litter performed as expected, though it did seem to stick a bit in the robot.
