Should've paid attention to the reviews
I wanted a measuring cup just for the care and feeding of my sourdough starter. This claims to be a borosilicate glass measuring cup. I have my doubts. I've taken pictures of the cup I received (left) and a real borosilicate measuring cup. As you can see, the one I received is smaller and thinner. It feels as delicate as a teacup. Surprisingly, the measurements are accurate and it does hold a cup of water. I'm just waiting for it to knock against something and it breaks. Definitely not the quality I expected. The only reason it gets three stars is because it holds one cup of fluid. I won't be attempting to put it in the microwave or dishwasher. I doubt it would survive.

Sturdy glass but....
After three months of use the markings have faded. Almost invisible at this point. Perhaps I shouldn't have put it in the dishwasher but I was using it quite often as it was the perfect size. And the measuring cup is very strong considering how delicate the glass seems to be. I expected it to chip or break before the markings faded.

Not what I hoped it would be.
The bottom isn't flat. I bought this because I broke my mother's 40 year old Pyrex one and Pryex no longer makes the one cup in the old style. Not impressed.
