Should this lotion be watery

It is a lotion rather than a cream or mousse so yes I believe it should be a thin liquid. I didn't like how the smell developed, but it went on okay.

Does it wash off when you bath

No, it does not wash off. You put the lotion on and leave it on for a few hours (I leave it overnight) and it develops a really beautiful golden tan colour. It does not come off on your sheets either and it lasts a long time. It also wears off very well and not patchy. I love this stuff!

Once opened, what is the expiry time please.

I have opened it one summer and used it again the following year and it was still good. Just keep it sealed tightly
