This is the second set we have bought. The first set we bought many years ago and it still looks as good as new, hence why we went for the same again for a different seating area in the garden. They are very well made and look really good. Sturdy and long lasting. We think they are good value for money compared to similar sets. Would definitely recommend.

Very good value for money. I was apprehensive to have a self build, not because I can't self build but because a self build can be rather rickety. These are not rickety in the slightest, the joints are tight and the set stays solid like a cast iron set. In use for the 2nd year now and have over wintered well with no protection. The set still looks like new. The weight is good too, not as heavy as a full cast iron set so I can lift it if I wanted to move it but it is not so flimsey that it moves when you walk passed. They have not blown away. They may blow away on the Orkney Islands or on an exposed site at around 1100 ft above sea level where only solid cast iron would do. This table and chair set is excellent, I would buy again. Highly recommended.

Really nice bistro set for the smaller terrace/garden. The metal is light enough to handle, but solid enough to be stable (although beware the 3 legged table, easy to overbalance if you have a habit of putting your elbows on it).The assembly was pretty easy with the following exception;1. Some of the parts were pre-assembled. Sounds like a good thing, but it meant that it wasn't possible to check the inventory of parts, especially as some of the bolts were of slightly different lengths and there were a few extras in the pack. Some of the washers were of a different size, although this is not reflected in the instructions. In retrospect, if I hadn't spent anytime trying to check the parts before starting to assemble it and just got on with it, assembly would have been quick.2. The supplied spanner is a bit pathetic (as is usual with flat packed furniture). I used a socket set which made it much faster, although the socket did slip off the nut at one point and I grazed my hand against the metal (mostly my fault!).All in all, a very happy purchase.

Ordered this yesterday and today, after less than 30 minutes putting it together, it's sitting in my back yard and it looks great! Excellent service from Lazy Susan Furniture (thank you), with all parts wrapped in bubblewrap and protected with plenty of cardboard. It's all flat-packed but some of the bits are partly assembled e.g. there are bolts already in place on chairs with little rubber protectors over each one, which makes this really simple to put together. All you'll need is a size 14 spanner and a flat-headed screwdriver.Really pleased with this - it looks great, it's a good price, it's sturdier than I was expecting and really simple to put together. Highly recommended.

We've had this a while now - the set is very sturdy, has been left outside all over winter and still looks good as new. Our garden doesn't have space for a big table and chairs set, this allows us to have brunch in the garden without taking up too much room. It also looks nice left out, like an ornament in its own right instead of those ugly plastic sets.

They're so light, the wind keeps blowing them, cost of from manufacturing it must be very minimal, I am not happy with the price at all much to expensive for what there.

The bistro set arrived very securely packaged, all parts wrapped in bubblewrap. Assembly was simple and took about an hour from start to finish. The chairs were part assembled with the screws already in place with protective caps to prevent any accidental damage. The completed set looks good and is a quality product

The Bistro Set arrived short of one tiny, but vital, foot pad. Amazon's response was "Send it back, we will pick it up." Admirable, but I thought a little OTT for such a small and easily overcome fault. After all it was a screw-in foot pad and I was very pleased with the quality and appearance of the set. I eventually managed to e-mail Lazy Susan Furniture about my problem. Their response was very quick, polite and most apologetic and more to the point, by next day I had the offending missing foot pad! Exceptional service which more than made up for, what I will admit was an annoying omission. Would I buy it again? Most certainly.
