I recently purchased the Tomtoc 30L Backpack, and I must say, it has exceeded all my expectations in terms of size, organization, and practicality. I absolutely love this laptop backpack! It’s spacious enough to handle all my daily essentials, with plenty of layers and pockets that make organizing everything a breeze. The cushioned back provides excellent protection for my laptop while also acting as a soft buffer for my back—super comfortable to wear for extended periods. One of my favorite features is the genius design for storing the straps. I was skeptical at first, but after using it, I found it incredibly practical and helpful. The material is both durable and water-repellent, making it suitable for various weather conditions. The only downside is the single side pocket, which means I have to choose between carrying my water bottle or umbrella. That small inconvenience aside, this backpack is truly wonderful and highly recommended for anyone looking for a functional, well-designed, and weather-resistant backpack!

TomToc products are just always dope. Great durability. I get compliments on this bag a lot. It holds way more than you'd think looking at it's size. It's definitely geared for work and carrying tech rather than travel but it can absolutely do both and can even be a gym bag if you need. But the main point is it's great. Has features for days including two water bottle holders, one inside, one outside. I highly recommend this and other TomToc products.

This is an excellent backpack for its price point. It's comfortable and has plenty of space for all of my tech gear and books without looking too bulky. I highly recommend it for those who commute on a daily basis, but want a professional-looking bag that's just as versatile as it is affordable.

I am looking for a lighter alternative and I am comparing this bag to my Nomatic Travel Essential backpack. For myself, I am looking for the ONE bag to rule them all: - Gym bag to carry my shoes and weight belt. - Work laptop and accessories. - Versatility for travel and carrying 1-3 nights of clothing. At any given time, I am always carrying my gym gear and work laptop/accessories. My daily items include: - Cross training shoes - 6” leather weight belt (pictured separately) - Shampoo/body soap, comb, shoe horn - Electronic bag for my battery pack, extra cables and earbuds - Small notebook - Laptop and charger In the next 12 months I am traveling and completing: - 8 nights in Aruba - 9 nights in Greece - 10 nights in Ireland/Scotland The tomtoc Navigator T71 is completely functional and meets a lot of needs. The bag itself has 4 compartments: 2 front pouches for accessories, the main compartment that acts as a rucksack, and the laptop/tablet storage. The 2 front compartments are pretty well designed. Each compartment provides additional pouches to help organize and store accessories. My biggest issue with the two front compartments is that they don’t expand when unzipped. The zipper only moves horizontally and opens like a joey pouch. You may be able to store a lot within the compartment, stealing space from the main compartment, but this provides a challenge accessing and locating exactly what you’re looking for. The laptop/tablet compartment is perfect and provides plenty of padding. It’s easy to access and grab equipment. The main compartment acts like a rucksack, which I love, and allows the user to load and overload items. The main compartment has a large pocket that is likely meant to store documents and papers, but what I use to store my gym shoes. It also has an internal expandable pouch that is meant to store a battery pack because it has a pass through to the external water bottle holder. It also has a single internal zipper pouch to provide additional organization. I haven’t tried and tested it yet, but I fully expect the bag to handle 2-3 nights of clothing. The bag itself has a single (why?) external water bottle holder that also accepts pass through from the internal main compartment to have easy/quick access to a charging cable. The exterior polyester material feels like good quality and I have full confidence in its durability. It has a small bit of PU leather used on the exterior, but it’s such a small amount I have zero concerns with wear and tear. I love the small attention to detail: - The bag offers elastic bands on the shoulder and chest strap so the extra woven polyester isn’t hanging loose and is synched close. - The bag allows you to tuck in the shoulder straps if you’re planning to use it as a carry bag. - Double handles at the top to balance the bag weight. Once loaded, the bag is extremely comfortable to wear and carry. The back and shoulder straps are well padded and feel great. My biggest issues come down to three things: - The rectangular shape is really unattractive, especially when using it as a bag as a working professional. - Only a single exterior water bottle pouch. I simply don’t understand this. - No external small quick access pocket for items like a battery pack, charging cables or earbuds. And now for my own personal issue, and it is a me problem, due to how I load and organize the bag it tips over sometimes. Let me conclude by saying that this is a fantastic travel backpack. If this was my first travel backpack, I’d likely keep this until the end of life. If you are looking for a versatile travel backpack, I recommend this as an excellent option.

First of, I am a huge Tomtoc fan. Their products are top notch and very durable and high quality. I bought the 30L bag and it is absolutely great. Has a ton of room and individual pockets for all the little things. I often travel and work from different locations so I have to travel with two laptops (a 15.6" and a 14" Lenovo) I also carry all the necessary connectors and plugs. They all fit in Tomtoc 17.3" bag quite comfortably. It has enough space to also fit in any additional items that you wish to carry on the plane, whether it's an extra set of clothes or miscellaneous travel items. The back padding makes it extremely comfortable to carry and the shoulder straps are also very well padded and comfortable. The attached lanyard for keys or anything else you don't want to lose is a great touch. Overall, would highly recommend this bag. I did have an issue w/ my 18L bag and Tomtoc replaced it right away. SUPERB customer service makes this a great investment.

I recently got a new laptop and so I wanted a quality back to protect it while having enough pockets to organize and fit all my chargers & gadgets I need whether it be a day in a café or a night at work. Its slim profile gives a clean look that doesn't bulge awkwardly when filled up. It keeps it neat rectangular shape through the day. The many handles and shoulder straps ensure that your bag is accessible to retrieve at any angle. The shoulder straps themselves are shaped and padded comfortably on my shoulders and the padding in the back are so awesome and breathable. The dedicated laptop pocket is velvet-like and padded very well. I also appreciate the pockets for the shoulder straps whenever the bag isn't in use. I've bought this company's crossbody pill bag and just like that, this bag is perfect if you got a little bit more to carry around for work or a short commute around the town. I highly recommend this quality bag if you really care about protecting your electronics and daily essentials.

I have been hunting/searching online for months and months on YouTube, reading and listening to countless reviews on the vast amount of bags available to buy for laptops, tech gear and general backpacks for work and travel. I’ve bought cheap bags, midrange bags and even high end bags costing over a couple of hundred all sent back as they are not right for my purpose. The search stops here with TomToc. I love this bag, the more I use it, the more I appreciate it and enjoy using it. One thing in common with these tech/laptop backpacks is the laptop compartment is situated right against your back, why? As your back is not very straight, so much so, some bags are contoured to fit against the curve of your back. One bag I bought and tried out felt all wrong, as if you stretched your back, the laptop would literally snap. Anyway, this bag is so comfortable to wear, even on long trips, it’s a pleasure to wear, evenly distributed weight (some bags you feel the weight on your shoulders, or the weight sits on the bottom of your back) this bag feels good to carry no matter the weight inside, the straps are well padded and soft. Compartments galore, there are so many compartments that I am able to store a lot more than I expected to without it bulging and looking like I have things crammed in. The level of detail and thought gone into manufacturing this is spot on. Someone has thought of everything. Keyholder (which is a lifesaver for a bag of this size, it means you can get to your keys instantly) pen holder, a decent size bottle holder (which I have a 1 litre bottle, the struggle to find a bag that will accommodate this was hard, this fits no problem) All in all it’s the perfect tech/laptop bag and would recommend for that purpose. I would not recommend though for travel as it you cannot fit large amount of clothes in, I would say you can fit your laptop, tech accessories and maybe a light jacket/hoodie or jumper and that’s it. If you need something that will accommodate laptop and clothes, maybe look elsewhere. I am away right now on a short trip, this bag has my tech and I have another hold-all for clothes. As I know there are big backpacks out there for laptops and holds clothing, this is not for that. The other thing I love about this bag, it’s slimline, you can fit a lot in and retains the thin profile. Other bags start to look like a home on your back like a ninja turtle (shell on your back). Some of the other bags I have purchased, the quality has been awful, straps falling off (unstitched), interior ripping etc. The quality of this bag is superior and seem to be of a higher quality than a lot of others at a higher price. A highly recommended bag.

I love this bag. I used it on my short vacation in Alberta, and it is great for organizing my tech devices. It provided a really good organization for all my stuff with its well-placed pockets and sleeves that maximize the space inside the backpack. A couple of extra pouches can fit in the main compartment to provide even more organization. For example, a tech pouch for loose items like chargers, cables, drives, or small cameras.

I bought this for its unique design and its handles help me to hang off the wall. The material used is very good and there is good thought behind the design elements all over the bag. I liked the slim profile of the bag and it stands upright on its base without falling down. It is very easy to carry because the straps provide good support. The laptop area can carry two MacBooks easily which I found very useful. Few things which could have been better, - the bottle holder could have been a little taller - if there were different colour options it would have been great as well
