Love this little ( but not too little) grinder
Perfect compact size grinder for people who want to use fresh beans every time without using a big, loud, high capacity machine. It’s quiet enough to use early morning for my pour over coffee and doesn’t make a huge mess. It’s easy to wipe clean too. I took the manufacturer’s advice and did a light spritz of water on the beans before grinding and it eliminated the static problem that all these machines seem to have. They even provide a tiny, little spray bottle for the purpose. The grinder itself feels well made, heavy duty even. All the parts fit together well and the grind settings function gives a wide array of choices from fine to coarse. I’m happy with my OXO grinder. Take time to read the user manual because someone took the time to write it for us and it would be inconsiderate not to, but seriously, good tips on grind consistency, how to clean it and operating functions in there.

Fast, Powerful, and Rugged - A Quick and Perfect Grind Every Time!
Easy to handle, mechanically simple, and rugged: A big 0.58A/70W motor, and a burr assembly that's solid and hefty; I can't imagine anything could ever break it. The lower half of it quick-disconnects and drops out of the hopper with a simple twist, for fast and easy maintenance and cleaning with a compressed air gun (hand-held electric recommended). If you like a fine espresso powder grind, you have five grind levels to choose from. I chose #3; #1 and #2 are finer (not by much), but they grind so slow, the motor times out in 40 seconds, to prevent overheating/burnout. For a coarser grind, you'll find something between #6 - #15. Either way, it's a perfect grind with no chips or slivers. I removed the finger guard; it's probably there for legal reasons, but it slows down the beans feeding down into the burr assembly. I can't imagine anyone being dumb enough to put a finger in it - it would chop your fingertip off in a hearbeat if it was running! Just pour in the beans, and put the rubber lid on to contain them. The pouring spout on the grounds bin is handy, but it's too wide to fill a Keurig reusable pod basket without spilling the grounds. It's easier to leave the bin attached to the grinder base, and use a baby spoon to scoop out the grounds, with the spout removed and out of the way. Finally, storage is easy. It's rather tall, but it has a small footprint.

Great Grinder - A Little Messy - Overall No Regrets
What I love about this grinder: Easy to dial grind size: the grind is extraordinarily consistent, and I have dialed in the perfect grain size for my Chemex pour-over. Quiet: this may be the quietest coffee grinder I have ever used. I don't think it's efficiently possible to make a grinder silent, but this one is significantly quieter than grinders I have used in the past. What I don't like: Very hard to clean. This grinder has sort of an awkward setup, after removing the grinder to access the ground coffee, grind residue is left clinging to the grinder component. Because of how you must disassemble the grinder, it is very hard to not get coffee grinds on the counter or other surfaces. It's a small sacrifice to pay for an otherwise quality product. I have no regrets on the purchase, but think it could use some work on design to mitigate grind mess.

Superb Coffee Grinder
I highly recommend the Oxo burr coffee grinder. It is made to the highest quality standards and my coffee has never tasted so good. And, my previous coffee grinder was a burr grinder. Having a good grinder is paramount to producing a good cup of coffee. The grinding process is not too noisy and the compact model is perfect for making just one or two cups of coffee. It's easy to clean and takes up very little space on your counter. But, basically I love the fact that this item is precision made as are all the Oxo products.

Easy to use and my coffee taste great!
Works great! I’ve wanted a coffee grinder with a conical burr for quite some time now. I use it to grind my coffee for my French press, and I think my coffee taste noticeably better than it did when I used my old bladed coffee grinder. I should have bought one of these sooner, it’s worth the money if you’re going to drink coffee every day. Easy to use and easy to clean. Highly recommended!

Good grinder
Works great, even grind, doesn’t clog. Little annoying to clean all the parts, but that’s life

Compact, but messy
3.5-4 stars. Messiness: 2/5 Size: 5/5 Noise Level: 4/5 I'm a fan of the Baratza Encore, and that would be my choice if I had the counter space. This OXO grinder is a decent compact option, but it has some design flaws. It's relatively quiet, and I like that it can be disassembled for storage. That said, the coffee grinds tend to stick to the grinder and the sides of the grind reservoir, and it could become very messy quickly if you're not careful.

Great upgrade from a blade grinder, enjoying the easy, consistent grind.
So far so good with this grinder. We used a blade grinder for many years which has the virtue of being compact and inexpensive. I didn't expect to actually like it as much as I do but being able to just set the number press the button then do a few other things while it grinds is great. The consistent grind is also very nice, while the blade grinder isn't bad you have to guess or time your grinds this is so much easier. While less compact it does fit in the same space as our blade grinder and is great for single pot or pour over amounts of grind. Only downsides so far have been that it is a bit messier, grind sticks to the burr (even after a good tap) and some gets around the bin. The other downside is while there's lots of grind settings most seem to be useless. I grind french press metal screen at #6 and drip/pour over at #3, most of the grind settings seem way too. small nit: I wish it had better registration marks for re-assembly , you get used to it after a bit but it would be nice to have a visual indicator of where to line it back up to twist it into place.

Excellent coffee grinder! Despite that is made in China, works very well. I was looking for a compact electric burr grinder, and after so much research, this is the smallest one and reliable I fund. Of course, the ones made in Europe are much more effective, but for household use, it works fantastic. Coffee ground settings from very tiny (for espresso) or very corse for regular coffee drip machine and french press. Easy to store in a deep drawer. Remember that the quality of the coffee beans you use is very important!
